In the latest in a string of high-profile hacking disclosures, the Federal Reserve confirmed on Wednesday that one of its websites was broken into by cyber hackers in a breach that reportedly leaked the contact information of thousands of bankers.

While the central bank said the incident didn't "affect critical operations" of the Federal Reserve System, the disclosure is sure to fuel concerns about the cyber security of government websites and critical financial infrastructure.

The Fed hack appears to be tied to an Anonymous group that published on Twitter the credentials of more than 4,000 commercial bankers early Monday morning. The group, Operation Last Resort, said it received the documents "via the FED."

Call it the Rick Perry gold rush: The governor wants to bring the state's gold reserves back from a New York vault to Texas.

And he may have legislative support to do it. Freshman Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, is carrying a bill that would establish the Texas Bullion Depository, a secure state-based bank to house $1 billion worth of gold bars owned by the University of Texas Investment Management Co., or UTIMCO, and stored by the Federal Reserve.

"If you think gold is a hedge, or a protection, you always want it as close to the individual and the entity as possible," Paul told The Texas Tribune on Thursday. "Texas is better served if it knows exactly where the gold is rather than depending on the security of the Federal Reserve."

Sadly, most Americans don't even realize that a private banking cartel has a monopoly over all money creation in this country. You can thank the reckless money printing that the Federal Reserve has been doing for the incredible bull market that we have seen in recent months. When the Federal Reserve does more "quantitative easing", it is the financial markets that benefit the most. The Dow and the S&P 500 have both hit levels not seen since 2007 this month, and many analysts are projecting that 2013 will be a banner year for stocks. But is a rising stock market really a sign that the overall economy is rapidly improving as many are suggesting? Of course not. So quantitative easing has definitely not made things better for the middle class. But all of the money printing that the Fed has been doing has worked out wonderfully for Wall Street. 4/29/13 - NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — We're learning more about the Boston Marathon bombing suspect killed in a shootout with police. Not everyone is surprised to learn Tamerlan Tsarnaev was one of the suspects in the bombings. As federal investigators search for a possible motive, a clearer picture has emerged about Tsarnaev, the older brother in the alleged plot that stunned the the world. Entertainment Tonight's Rob Marciano uncovered exclusively a boxing documentary that shows the alleged Boston bomber in 2010. On Monday, for the first time, the public got to hear his voice. On the video, Tsarnaev looks into the camera, cocky, smiling and ready to fight. "He's a machine. A clean, clear, technique, knows what he needs to do and just does it," trainer John Allen said. Allen was Tamerlan's trainer. They worked out at Wai Kru in Allston, Mass. He said Tsarnaev was the best in New England, with dreams of going to the Olympics. But in 2010 Tamerlan was disqualified from competition for not being a U.S. citizen. Also weighing heavily was a pending domestic violence charge, Marciano reported. When asked out the charge, Allen told Marciano, "He kept it from me. He gave me the impression that the reason he unable to go to the Olympics was because he couldn't become a citizen, because of mishandling of paperwork. He felt that it was done on purpose so that the guy he beat could go to the Olympic trials." Marciano: "Do you think that this road block in his boxing career set him on the wrong path, set him on the path to these bombings? Allen: "Absolutely." Allen told Marciano he was shocked when he found out Tamerlan was the one suspected of the bombings, but not everyone in the gym was. Marciano: "Do you believe at any time when you knew Tamerlan that he could be a terrorist?" Allen: "No, but I will say there were a couple of members who thought that he might be." 4/28/13 - Fox News Sunday's political panel took on the revelation that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons against opposition forces within the country, provoking a question of whether President Obama's so-called "red line" has been crossed and whether U.S. military action has now become necessary despite the president's hesitance. "Obama put himself in a box here," host Chris Wallace observed of the president's condemnation of the Assad regime's reported use of chemical weapons. "He kept talking for months about 'red lines' ... but he's clearly mindful of bad intelligence that led into Iraq, and it's also clear that he never wanted to get involved militarily in Syria." Rep Peter King Blasts FBI Investigation Into Bombing Suspects: 'Too Much Was Perfectly Synchronized'

4/29/13 - Peter King, a Republican congressman from New York, has been outspoken since the Boston Marathon bombing, be it about increased surveillance of the Muslim community or how authorities handled Russia's warnings about the suspects. On Monday, King paid a visit to Today — to speak about Hurricane Sandy recovery, but also addressed the Boston investigation.

Had the Russians given the FBI information about the suspect and his mother's radicalization and views, officials obviously would have gotten to the bottom of the situation quicker. King, though, was wary of the relationship between the U.S. and Russia.

"It's a bit of a dance," he noted. "They want to give as much as they can...but they don't want to give us anything which would give us an idea as to how they do their intelligence."

The FBI should have looked closer and noted closed out the case so quickly when they were warned, he added — because there may not have been a fire, but there was "enough smoke" to keep the investigation active.

The congressman further refuted the idea that the Tsarnaev brothers were lone actors who executed the attack. "I have no evidence of it," he conceded, "but when you find this many bombs put together so well...it's very difficult for me to believe two people could have done that on their own, especially living in a tiny apartment with his wife and daughter and the other brother going to school."

"Too much was perfectly synchronized here, for this just to be two guys doing it on their own," King argued. "There had to be some sort of facilitation, at least, possibly co-conspirators."

Jim Tucker The Bilderberg Hound Dies at 78

James P. Tucker, Jr. (12/31/1934 – 4/26/2013), famed Bilderberg Hound, author of Jim Tucker’s Bilderberg Diary, passed away yesterday due to complications he suffered following a fall.

A proper tribute to Tucker will rendered next week when the front page of AMERICAN FREE PRESS newspaper will be dedicated to Jim.

I can share a little info about this facility. Yes it is a prison, but it's not FEMA. It is a privately owned facility by one of the major banks, wells fargo/bank of america. I do patrols out here and have seen it from a distance using optics. These private prisons are popping up all over the open desert here, Florence and around the Tucson sector. The first step in any battle is knowing the enemy, and this enemy which ‘possesses’ us all, comes with many faces and many promises, and speaks with forked tongue, which we have been literally seduced by. This isn’t rocket science, but takes a lot of courage to face the fact that all our lives we have been allowing a really dark force, normally in dark suits, to manipulate us psychically, mentally and physically, and rule us by its fear based system.

We become ‘occupied’ by their influence in a sense, and they have custody and control over us. Very similar to what they do to countries which they ‘occupy’ by force, paralyzing them by cutting off their infrastructure of food, water and electricity, and these same things we rely on them for, which is our sustenance. The good news is that its changing now and people everywhere are learning how to ‘get their lives back’ and ‘reclaim themselves’ from this dominant, evil force.

In the older traditions, people would be helped by the gifted Shamans in their villages if they were being manipulated and controlled psychically or physically by another person, group or entity. If someone is in control of us physically by giving us the money for food, then they automatically are controlling us psychically by the very fact that we are so dependent on them. In the case of mass manipulation and slavery inflicted on people by the tyrannizing clutches of the oligarchs, that is serious ‘possession’ indeed. – Jason Liosatos

He also urged Chancellor George Osborne to make it clear that Britain would never seize money in this way in the hope it can benefit from a huge flight of money out of the eurozone. His stark "get your money out" warning came as Cyprus raced to qualify for a vital international bailout to avoid a potential bankruptcy that would engulf 12,000 British expat pensioners from midnight tomorrow. The tiny island nation needs to raise 5.8billion euro (£4.95billion) to secure a 10billion euro European rescue that would help it to stay in the currency. The tax would apply to any Briton with a Cypriot bank account including the 3,000 British servicemen and women. An estimated 25,000 Britons live on Cyprus. The European Central Bank had said that, after tomorrow, it would pull the plug on further financial assistance for Cyprus's troubled banks unless a deal was in place. This left the island's 56 MPs with an unenviable choice, to impose strict curbs on the movement of money and to put the country's largest banks into receivership or face exit from the euro and a dramatic economic crash. Earlier yesterday it looked as if Cyprus may have to impose a larger levy on deposits, up to 25 per cent. The tax has fuelled fears of a run on Cypriot banks if they reopen on Tuesday. Its banks have been closed for more than a week since the levy was proposed, triggering widespread outrage in Cyprus. The British Government has frozen £1.2million in state pension payments due to 12,000 Britons living in Cyprus to prevent it being grabbed in a bailout deal. However, British banks face a £1.3billion exposure to a wholesale collapse of the banking system in Cyprus. The country is still a major trading partner for the UK.

Rand Paul with Glen Beck on Immigration & Drones - 4/26/2013

Senator Rand Paul joined the radio program this morning to discuss immigration reform and his recent statements regarding drones. While Glenn and the senator are like-minded, and Sen. Paul is one of the few congressman Glenn holds high regard for, they don't agree on everything.

Glenn took issue with comments Senator Paul made following the Boston bombings regarding drones. While Rand says everything he said aligns with what he said during his infamous filibuster on drones, Glenn couldn't get on board.

"What I was trying to say is, and interestingly I used this hypothetical in my filibuster, if you look at the filibuster I use the exact same working and the exact same analogy 3 or 4 times," Sen. Paul noted. "What I was trying to describe was a gun fight where someone is coming out of liquor store and shooting at policemen. Most of us acknowledge that police have the right to shoot back and to use deadly force on criminals who are using deadly force against them or hostages, customers, etc.

The point I was trying to make was, instead of the policemen getting out of his car, was pushes a button and some kind of robotic firing arm is able to engage in the firefight instead of the policeman. That's what I'm imagining."

Glenn wasn't convinced.

"You may in the end be right but I am against it because I don't want to give the government any more power," Glenn said.

They did both agree that Tsarnaev should have had his Miranda Rights read to him and not have been considered an enemy combatant at any point.

While Glenn and Rand may not find common ground at this point on that issue, however, when it comes to immigration reform, the two men are on the same page. The answers are found in making the student visa program and the border is more secure, while making it easier for good, hardworking people to immigrate to the United States.

The Collapse of Money Humanities Heroin Addiction

Cyprus is just the beginning, as we witness humanities forced addiction and slavery to money collapsing, and this addiction to money makes heroin seem like child’s play. With most serious addictions there is a dealer and a user and both play their part in perpetuating the misery. The dealer usually has less misery than the poor user because even if the dealer is trapped and addicted to the drug like the user, at least s/he has a bountiful supply of the substance all the time even if it is also killing them. They have access to it whenever they need it, and have control over it, especially if they can produce it themselves. The poor user however is in a perpetual struggle and state of fear, to acquire the drug they need to survive, and being so addicted and dependent on it, everything including their very survival depends on them getting it. The pain of not having it is horrific and causes terrible misery. The pain of having it also causes misery because you know it’s going to run out, and thus a person, the ‘user addict’ is trapped in the prison of continually doing anything to get it, which is a joy for the dealers.
The poor users  should not be blamed for their addiction and dependency, because the dealers entrapped them early in life, they were forced to ‘use’ the deadly money drug, and the system of dealer and user seemed just normal to them not knowing any different, it is what they were born into. The dealers even give the poor young addict the drug without payment sometimes and the addict racks up great debts which enslaves them to the dealers even further, often for a whole lifetime and the cunning dealers know that the addiction will be passed onto their children.
The dealer relies completely on people becoming trapped in the addiction, so they become experts at learning how to trap people as early as they can, hopefully from a very young age. They give young people bundles of the drug for a college education and promise them a future supply once they leave, when they can begin paying them back. Does this all sound familiar? Good lets proceed.
The addiction to money has caused more death, wars, disease, misery, heartbreak, suicide, sicknesses and disgusting psychological and physical torment for human civilization than anything ever has done or ever will do again on this planet. Nothing could possibly match its insanity, which has predictably brought humanity to the brink of its destruction via the deadly and completely insane drug of money. The damage it has done globally and individually and the story of its misery could not fit between the pages of a book, or the walls of the biggest library. It is the biggest killer disease the world has ever known, and is about to reach a predictable climax if it is not halted, where the superpowers of the world will blow themselves, us and the planet into history.
I know a lot about addictions having been addicted to most drugs and all but few of the other addictions of mind and body that we could think of. I know by personal experience the misery and torment of addictions, but nothing compares to the drug of money, and the misery it is causing. Of course we must remember at this point that the main dealers with plenty of it, even if they aren’t the big dealers, are not going to want to hand their casino chips in if they are winning at the moment. There are many smaller dealers of the drug from the biggest and most brutal, to the smallest, who deal with the addict in the corner shop. The bottom line is this, most addicts are trapped and consumed completely by the pursuit of the money drug to barely survive, and that pursuit is robbing people of their souls and the life force within them, and it has a strangle hold so tight around humanities neck we are all dying from it, and so is the planet.
So the choice is simple, end money before it destroys us and this planet. The main thing keeping us trapped is that we have become so enslaved and dependant on it and the dealers who feed us that we can’t see or envisage a future of survival without the dealers or the drug. We are frightened and concerned, but that’s natural, so let us not blame ourselves. America has a staggering amount of debt--$1.3 million for every family; these debts will be accrued in some manner-- typically by fleecing the middle class, he warned.

The U.S. is moving away from being a "free economy" which depends on agreement and produces prosperity, Goyette noted. Instead, we're seeing a movement toward a "command economy, " he said, which produces shortages, and is run by "coercion," with resources, production, and consumption directed by a central command such as boards, commissions, and administrators. What has been taking place in industries such as insurance, automotive, banking, and health care are all examples of the "command economy," he detailed.

While credit card companies are slashing people's credit and forcing them to save, banks aren't offering any incentive for savers with their low return rates, he reported. As the dollar continues to be worth less, Goyette advised people to put some of their investments in gold and silver, and also consider other opportunities such as agricultural and natural resources.

Did Rand Paul Flip Flop On Drones ?

4/25/13 - Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has been doing a bit of damage control this week after he spoke to Fox Business Channel's Neil Cavuto Monday night about his seeming change of heart on the issue of using drones to kill American citizens on U.S. soil. Once the backlash to Paul's "flip-flop" was splashed across the top of The Drudge Report, the senator apparently felt he had no choice but to clarify his controversial remarks. First, Paul released a short statement on his senate website, reading in part, "My comments last night left the mistaken impression that my position on drones had changed. Let me be clear: it has not." He went on to explain that "armed drones should not be used in normal crime situations. They may only be considered in extraordinary, lethal situations where there is an ongoing, imminent threat." Last night, Paul went on Fox News' Hannity in an attempt to put the "flip-flopping" narrative to bed once and for all. After playing a clip of Paul making the statement that gave his critics the most ammunition ("If someone comes out of a liquor store with a weapon and fifty dollars in cash," he said, "I don't care if a drone kills him or a policeman kills him"), Sean Hannity asked, "So, has Senator Rand Paul changed his position?" Paul came out of the gate immediately denying any change in his position, saying, "It's exactly the same position I expressed during the 13-hour filibuster." Evoking the man who dominated the political media conversation yesterday, he said, "In the famous words of George W. Bush, I think I was 'misunderestimated.'" But was Rand Paul really simultaneously misunderstood and underestimated, which can only be the meaning of that legendary Bush portmanteau? He went to explain that he used the same liquor store example in his 13-hour filibuster and urged "left-wing bloggers out there trying to promote something" to look back at what he said. A look at the transcript of the filibuster shows exactly how he framed the liquor store scenario during hour three: "If some guy's robbing a liquor store two blocks from here and the policemen come up and he comes out brandishing a gun, he or she can be shot. They once again don't get Miranda rights, they don't get a trial, they don't get anything. If you come out brandishing a weapon and people are threatened by it, you can be shot. So it's important to know what we're talking about. We're not talking about the guy coming out of the liquor store with a weapon. Even a drone could kill him if the FBI had drones. So my objection to drones isn't so much the technology. There may be a use in law -- for law enforcement here. But there are also potential, great potential for abuses." So, yes, Paul did use the same example in his filibuster, but he also seriously undersold the scenario to Cavuto when it was simply someone "with a weapon and fifty dollars in cash," a description that could describe a lot of people in this heavily armed country who would not be considered "imminent threats." When Paul says drones shouldn't be used in "normal crime situations," where does he draw that line? Paul has essentially tried to brand himself as the ultimate "civil libertarian." As he told Hannity last night, "you're talking to the senator who is the most concerned about privacy, the most concerned about your civil liberties, and the most concerned about restricting the use of this kind of technology." But when that senator goes on television and says he has no problem with a drone killing an American who some authority somewhere believes may have just robbed a liquor store, he can't be that surprised when people question his dedication to that cause.
