The over two year battle they've had with the Missouri Milk Board ended today with a raid and confiscation of over 250 thousand dollars of inventory seized by the state. As a result of the legal stipulations put on Morningland Dairy which are impossible to comply with they will no longer be able to produce their product. The real crime they are being persecuted for is producing cheese with raw milk. Whether the state wants to admit it or not that is what their real charge is and that in itself is criminal.

Any sign that Syria's grip on its chemical weapons is slipping as it battles an armed uprising could trigger Israeli military strikes, Israel's vice premier said on Sunday.

Silvan Shalom confirmed a media report that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had last week convened a meeting of security chiefs to discuss the civil war in Syria and the state of its suspected chemical arsenal.

Israel and NATO countries say Syria has stocks of chemical warfare agents at four sites. Syria is cagey about whether it has such arms but says if it had it would keep them secure and use them only to fend off foreign attack.

The Israeli meeting on Wednesday had not been publicly announced and was seen as unusual as it came while votes were being counted from Israel's parliamentary election the day before, which Netanyahu's party list won narrowly.

Should Lebanon's Hezbollah guerrillas or rebels battling forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad obtain Syria's chemical weapons, Shalom told Israel's Army Radio: "It would dramatically change the capabilities of those organizations."

Such a development would be "a crossing of all red lines that would require a different approach, including even preventive operations," he said, alluding to military intervention for which Israeli generals have said plans have been readied.

"The concept, in principle, is that this (chemical weapons transfer) must not happen," Shalom said. "The moment we begin to understand that such a thing is liable to happen, we will have to make decisions."

Israeli media said on Sunday the military had deployed two "Iron Dome" rocket interceptor batteries near the northern city of Haifa, an area near the Lebanese and Syrian frontiers.

A military spokesman confirmed the report but insisted the battery placement was "not due to any specific security situation" but part of a routine of rotating these systems.

Difficult coalition talks could be ahead for Netanyahu with factions representing widely different sectors of the Jewish state's population.

In his public remarks at the cabinet session, Netanyahu pointed to "what is happening in Iran and its proxies and at what is happening in other areas, with the deadly weapons in Syria, which is increasingly coming apart.

"In the east, north and south, everything is in ferment and we must be prepared, strong and determined in the face of all possible developments," Netanyahu said, in apparent reference to Iran, Syria and Egypt.

In a statement carried by the state news agency, SANA, the Syrian army's general command said: "Israeli fighter jets violated our air space at dawn today and carried out a direct strike on a scientific research centre in charge of raising our level of resistance and self-defence." The claims followed earlier reports that Israeli jets had hit a convoy allegedly carrying weapons to Lebanon's Hizbollah movement. According to Sky sources, the attack took place just inside Syria. "We know from sources that the Israelis have conducted an airstrike involving three sorties by 12 planes - a very heavy airstrike, a high level of intent - on the village of Nabi Chit, near the bigger Syrian town of Zabadani. "It's inside Syrian territory, therefore representing a possible strategic escalation. "I'm told by security sources that were not directly involved that the most likely target were either shore-to-ship missiles - very sophisticated missiles of the kind used by Hizbollah against an Israeli ship a few years ago off the coast of Lebanon - or sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles, both of which the Damascus regime have access to from Russia. "They are recently understood to have taken substantial imports of these from Russia. "Why are they such a worry to the Israelis? If Hizbollah were to get access to such anti-shipping missiles and particularly to very sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles, it would prevent the Israelis carrying out just the sort of airstrike that they've just done - it would shift the balance towards Hizbollah. UFO researcher Nick Redfern joined George Knapp to talk about a secret group within the U.S. government known as the Collins Elite, who believe our purported alien visitors are actually deceptive demonic entities. Redfern first learned of the group's existence through Ray Boeche, an Anglican priest, and former director of Nebraska's MUFON. Boeche said back in 1991 he met with two men from the Defense Dept. who told him about a secret project to contact NHE's (non-human entities). Eventually, Redfern interviewed a man in his 80s named Richard Duke, who claimed to be a member of the Collins Elite up until 1960, and recalled many specific details about the group. The group took its inspiration from occultist Aleister Crowley's ritual in which he reportedly made contact with an interdimensional entity named Lam. Later, in the 1940s, rocket scientist Jack Parsons engaged in similar experiments trying to invoke a being, and subsequent UFO sightings may have been enabled through his opening of a portal, the group believed. According to Duke, the Collins Elite also suspected that various contactees in the 1950s, such as George Hunt Williamson, who used a Oujia board for ET communications, were experiencing demonic deceptions.

In the 1960s, the Collins Elite examined a number of NDE reports, such as one in which deceased humans moved through a hellish landscape as a UFO-type craft hovered overhead, extracting their souls with a ball of light, Redfern detailed. "They eventually came to the conclusion...that the human soul possesses some sort of energy, which these entities can use as sustenance...In other words, they're harvesting human souls," he said, adding that the group believed that a strong religious viewpoint, such as Christian fundamentalism could keep the demonic entities at bay.

However, that concern was not evident when he told an interviewer of his desire to see his critics taken out with machine guns. Asked about how he would treat his critics if they were appearing on Britain's Got Talent, a show on which Morgan appeared as a judge, the CNN host remarked, "I'd replace the buzzers with machine guns and just take them all out and do the public a massive favor." Morgan's penchant for mowing people down with machine guns, even in the context of a joke, is somewhat rich given that he has spent weeks pontificating about the need to ban semi-automatic assault rifles on his live CNN show. This is by no means the first time that Morgan has joked about murdering his ideological adversaries while simultaneously brow-beating second amendment advocates about the need to ban guns in order to prevent shootings. While debating Morgan's contentious interview with Alex Jones earlier this month, author Buzz Bissinger remarked, "But what do you need a semi-automatic weapon for? The only reason I think you'd need it is, Piers, challenge Alex Jones to a boxing match, show up with a semi-automatic that you got legally and pop him." Breaking News : School Bus Driver Shot aboard, 6-year-old Taken Hostage in Dale Count - Alabama

A driver of a school bus in Dale County was shot several times, and a 6-year-old student passenger has been taken as a hostage by the suspected shooter near Midland City. Police report that the incident happened at approximately 3:36 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect demanded the driver to let a student off the bus. When the driver refused, the suspect boarded the bus, shot the driver before taking the child and fleeing the scene.

Bill O'Reilly Confronts Colin Powell in Interview on Obama and GOP's Racial Politics - 1/29/13

1/29/13 - General Colin Powell has been very critical of the Republican party in recent years, and tonight he appeared on Bill O'Reilly's show to defend his criticisms of the GOP. O'Reilly grilled Powell on why he continues to support President Obama despite the bad economic numbers and made him defend his claim that the Republican party has a problem with minorities. O'Reilly also brought up a criticism that Powell is just bitter with the party because they made him look bad following his 2003 speech before the United Nations on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Powell explained to O'Reilly that he was put off in 2008 and 2012 by the economic plans proposed by the Republican campaigns. He cited his long history of voting for Republicans and working for Republican presidents to assure O'Reilly of his credentials, before saying that he is "troubled" by the rightward shift of the party and decided Obama was the "best choice" for the presidency. O'Reilly pointed out that the economy under Obama has not been particularly kind to African-Americans. Powell said that overall the economy has improved, though he acknowledged it was not enough. He criticized the Republican party for not recognizing "fundamental demographic changes" happening in the country, suggesting that if they want to endear themselves to minorities, they cannot keep pushing for immigration and voter ID laws that adversely affect minority groups. O'Reilly pushed Powell on that last point, asking him what objection he has to voter identification. Powell said he opposes "additional levels" of ID that would disenfranchise many people, while disputing the idea that voter fraud is a widespread problem. In the second part of the interview, O'Reilly more directly took on Powell over his claim that parts of the Republican party "still look down on minorities." O'Reilly highlighted Powell's criticisms of John Sununu and Sarah Palin for, respectively, calling Obama "lazy" and criticizing his "shuck and jive" on Benghazi. Powell clarified that he does not believe Sununu and Palin and racists, but said they used language in a context that would seem racially charged to minorities, calling their remarks two examples of a more widespread "vein of intolerance" in the party. O'Reilly wrapped the interview by asking Powell a "rude question": there is some talk amongst Republicans that Powell just resents the GOP because they "made you look bad" following his testimony on WMDs in Iraq.
