The bottom line is the loss of social cohesion (food riots, hordes of starving people, the moochers become looters). The hate on the welfare recipients is so displaced and misinformed . the government created the welfare state not when it started giving people money but when it rewarded sociopaths in business suits with the ability to make profits at the expense of human dignity.
