With Hungary’s border closed, thousands of refugees and migrants in Serbia have been searching for a new route to Western Europe. Many are starting to make their way to the Croatian border after Croatia's prime minister said Wednesday that he would allow free passage across the country
Riot police have been forced to stand aside after they failed to hold back the latest wave of refugees and migrants that has been pushing into Croatia. More than 6,000 migrants have entered Croatia since Wednesday after many were unable to pass into Hungary from Serbia. They were forced to divert from their previous route north through Hungary after the border with Serbia was closed. It prompted the Croatian interior minister to announce: "Croatia cannot receive any more people". At least 2,000 migrants and refugees gathered at Croatia's Tovarnik railway station waiting for onward travel. Amid chaotic scenes in Croatia, hundreds of asylum seekers surged past security forces on Thursday to continue their journey to Western Europe. Some 6,000 migrants and refugees have poured into Croatia from Serbia in recent hours, after riot police and a razor wire fence thwarted their efforts to enter Hungary. Fed up with waiting for transport to continue their journey, huge crowds at the Croatian border town of Tovarnik pushed past police lines. But as thousands of others began to gather at border crossings, border guards were unable to hold them back and were forced to let them go. Sky's Stuart Ramsay said the situation in Tovarnik has become increasingly chaotic as the number of migrants has increased. One man was seen passed out on the ground as scores attempted to get on a set of buses that turned up to move them on. In Zagreb, riot police have surrounded a hotel housing migrants, many of which have occupied balconies shouting "freedom". In the first half, former ABC investigative correspondent Greg Hunter turned his hard hitting reporting and analysis to the underlying factors behind the turbulent financial markets, as well as the political landscape. In the latter half, Stephanie Arnold shared her account of mysterious premonitions that eventually led to her near death experience (NDE). Pregnant with her second child, she began receiving strong premonitions that she would die during the delivery. Distressed, she did everything she could to inform the medical team and her family about what she knew was coming. Yet, her concerns were mostly dismissed, even though she persisted. When she gave birth to her son, Stephanie clinically died on the operating table for 37 seconds, during which time she had an unforgettable spiritual experience.

Refugees bound for Western Europe push through police lines in the Croatian town of Tovarnik after police’s blocked them from a railway station.
The asylum seekers are now moving on foot towards the capital Zagreb and the Slovenian border. Some refugees have also boarded trains in the town of Ilaca, heading for Slovenia. Earlier, scuffles broke out after police tried to block the refugees. Dozens of people were injured. Croatian Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic has warned that his country cannot take in any more refugees. He said Zagreb would provide asylum seekers with a safe passage to reception centers around the capital, but those not seeking asylum would be considered illegal immigrants. He said 6,500 people have entered the country in the past 24 hours.
Also, Hungary’s treatment of refugees has been condemned by international organizations.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein says he was appalled by the actions of Hungarian authorities, calling them xenophobic and anti-Muslim. He said images of women and young children being assaulted with tear gas and water cannon at the Serbian border were truly shocking. The UN rights chief also said the reported assault on journalists and seizure of video documentation were illegal. The secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has also expressed shock and dismay at the harsh treatment of refugees. Iyad Madani called on the Hungarian government to respect international humanitarian laws and human rights of the refugees. On Wednesday, Hungarian police fired tear gas and water cannon at protesting refugees who have been demanding entry since Tuesday.

Bill Still -- Donald Trump Wins 2nd Debate
Donald Trump has trumped his other 10 Republican presidential candidates in every poll taken just hours after the close of the 2nd debate. In a poll taken in Fox 5 in San Diego, out of a large sample of over 16 thousand, Trump got 46% of the vote to second place Carly Fiorina with 22%. Marco Rubio placed third in the debate with only 9%. Ben Carson and Rand Paul placed 4th and 5th with 6%, Rand Paul with only 6% of the vote. Now, to keep this in context, a thousand respondents in a political poll is considered a lot of people, However, although online polls provide a much bigger sample, they are sometimes skewed to a certain audience. In the massive Drudge Report poll of nearly 500,000 votes by 7am this morning, Trump got a whopping 60% of the vote, with Fiorina trailing in 2nd place with 17%, Ted Cruz in 3rd with 5%, Rubio 4th with 5% and Rand Paul edging out Ben Carson, both with 4%. In a smaller, but more nuanced poll taken by TheStreet,com out of 5,000 respondents, on the question of who won the debate, Trump got 52% of the vote, Fiorina came in with 20%, Rubio came in 3rd with 7%, Ben Carson 4th with 5%, and Jeb Bush 5th, also with 5%. However, on the question of who would you like to see win the GOP nomination, Trump widened his lead significantly with 54% and Fiorina, though still coming in second, dropped to 10%, Carson was 3rd with 8%, and Rudio forth, also with 8%. But when the question was posed as who do you think WILL win the GOP Nomination, Trump’s lead jumped up to 59%, with Jeb Bush jumping up to 15%, with Fiorina dropping to 3rd at 7%. So, no matter how you slice the early results, Donald Trump despite his lack of details on issues, is completely crushing the rest of the field. The reason? I firmly believe that the American people has figured out that Congressional votes are being bought and sold to the highest bidder and they are tired of it. Trump’s greatest asset is not his comprehensive knowledge on issues, but the fact that he is not taking any the big money and so therefore the vast majority trusts him figures he’ll bring in the top experts to provide the details. An archaeologist and ancient historian by training, Dr. Eric Cline's primary fields of study are biblical archaeology, and the military history of the Mediterranean world from antiquity to present. In the first half, he discussed the factors which contributed to the decline and eventual collapse of late Bronze Age civilizations in the Mediterranean, and how the current trajectory of Western Civilization parallels these failed empires. There were a variety of cultural and economic links between the civilizations of the Eastern Mediterranean – Egypt, Minoan Crete, Mycenaean Greece, the Hittite Empire, and Kassite Babylonia-- during the second millennium BC, and they composed one of the first global ages, with all the different groups in contact with each other, he detailed.
Cline traced a number of causes to the downfall of these once thriving civilizations including natural catastrophes like earthquakes and prolonged droughts, migration and foreign invasions, internal rebellions, and the collapse of international trade. Scholars mention an invasion of Egypt by a mysterious "sea people" as part of the the downfall. Cline conjectured that these invaders might have been from Sicily or Sardinia. After the collapse, there was a kind of "dark age" where the art of writing, and craft of building large structures, and a centralized economy were all lost, he noted.

In the latter half, energy practitioner Aleya Dao shared her process which involves helping people access a higher vibration, and shift their consciousness, so "they can really be in their essence and come from that deep, authentic, beautiful place." To accomplish this, she advises individuals to use "seven cups of consciousness"-- seven concepts that foster access to the higher realms. These concepts include: We live in a multidimensional reality with the physical dimension just one aspect of our experience. We are never alone-- we have guides, angels, and teams around us to assist. We have the ability to change our inner world, which leads to changes in the outer world.
Dao described the "team" that assists people on their evolution as being made up of separate beings who exist in another dimension, and serve as huge resources that can buffer our energy. She also spoke about her work as a sound healer, using sound to move people to a greater place of coherence and balance. Dao uses her own voice, and demonstrated this on the air, with her unique and ethereal tones.
