Soros opens with an indictment of the concept of equilibrium. In the real world, equilibrium is compromised by what Soros calls “reflexivity.” Reflexivity (“the cornerstone of my conceptual framework”) refers to the fact that people’s opinions about social phenomena affect those very phenomena. All knowledge is therefore imperfect, and all social events unpredictable, he concludes.

The first problem is that Soros’s theorizing is confused. “Our thinking guides us in our actions,” he writes, “and our actions have an impact on what happens.” The actions of all individuals certainly have an impact on social reality, but a single individual can safely take the environment as given when making his own plans. The price of tomatoes depends on all individual demands, but an individual buyer can take prices as fixed. In cases where one individual’s actions influence another’s, strategic behavior (taking into account other people’s reactions) becomes rational, but this does not imply that the system is unstable. “Reflexivity” is much ado about nothing.

The Centers for Disease Control is looking to purchase body bags and a host of other personal protective equipment in response to the Ebola outbreak as concerns continue to linger about the spread of the virus.

A “sources sought” notice posted on FedBizOpps reveals that, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Procurement and Grants Office (PGO) is seeking multiple sources of supply for personal protective equipment (PPE) for potential use in the current Ebola Virus Disease outbreak response.”

According to an attachment entitled “List of Personal Protective Equipment for Sources Sought Notice,” the federal agency is looking to source suppliers of body bags that can hold 200-250 lbs of weight. The bags must also include, “At least 6 handholds included in the body bag to allow burial team to hand carry it safely.” The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released a new document that doubles the previous length in which Ebola droplets can spread through sneezing and coughing.

Posted to the Ebola information section of the CDC’s website, the new document states that a person within 6 feet of an Ebola victim may potentially become infected. “Ebola spreads by direct contact with someone who is sick or with the body fluids of someone who is sick or died from it,” CDC Director Tom Frieden claimed at the time. “We do not see airborne transmission in the outbreak in Africa. We don’t see it elsewhere in what we’ve seen so far.” Citing concerns over “aerosol exposure to Ebola,” the Pentagon awarded a $9.5 million contract to a biotechnology company to manufacture an Ebola vaccine.

The company, Profectus BioSciences, announced today that the Pentagon “contracted the manufacture and … preclinical testing of the Profectus trivalent Ebola/Marburg vaccine” which had previously been tested to “confirm protection of non-human primates from aerosol exposure to Ebola and Marburg viruses.” Spanish intelligence reports intercepted messages between online jihadists discussing the use of Ebola in attacks on the West.

To that end, he indicated that ghosts are often either seen repeating some function from their previous life, seemingly unaware of observers, or acting as if they hadn't died at all and are perturbed by witnesses. "In fact," he mused, "they may think that you're the one who is the ghost." Spirits, he said, are usually family members or friends who have passed away and appear via a dream, vision, or session with a medium.

Regarding celebrities and apparitions, MacGregor noted that, while living at the Dakota Apartments, John Lennon once witnessed the ghost of a crying woman walking down the hallway. Eerily, his own ghost was later reportedly seen by Yoko Ono in the very same building. MacGregor also shared the story of how actor Telly Savales once ran out of gas and got a ride from a stranger who loaned him a dollar. Promising to pay the man back, Savales had him write his phone number on the bill. When he called the number, the man's wife answered the phone and told Savales that her husband had been dead for three years. The actor would eventually meet the woman to show her writing on the bill and she was certain that it was that of her late husband. In the latter half, Dr. Michael Salla, a pioneer in the development of exopolitics, discussed the significance of the Pope's endorsement of ET life as part of universal evolution and how it relates to UFO disclosure. He contended that the pontiff's statements are particularly noteworthy because they mark the first time a Pope has talked about intelligent extraterrestrial life being a part of evolution. Salla theorized that the Pope's statements on ETs were fueled by the emergence of footage which showed UFOs hovering near the ISS since both occurred within the last month. "I think there is a definite pattern here," he argued. On what these craft may have been doing near the ISS, Salla put forward a pair of possible motives. One reason, he said, may be that "the extraterrestrials are maintaining a very close scrutiny of the space station" and have an interest in human activities there. Additionally, Salla surmised that, since the ETs likely know that the ISS has high definition cameras which capture their presence, they could be using this opportunity to make their presence known and more easily reveal themselves to the denizens of Earth.

Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."

Tarpley also commented on current situations in France, China, and Russia, as well as Syria and Libya, two countries that he visited during recent turmoils. America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

A major earthquake was recorded in the south Pacific early Sunday, about 140 kilometres (88 miles) northeast of Fiji's Ndoi Island, the US Geological Survey said. The 7.1-magnitude quake, which hit at 6:57 am local time (18:57 GMT Saturday), registered at a depth of 434 kilometres (270 miles). No tsunami warning was issued, according to the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. Fiji is located in the so-called Ring of Fire area of the Pacific Ocean basin, where a large number of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur. Last month, a 7.2-magnitude quake struck some 570 kilometres south of Easter Island.

We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US, intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."

Tarpley also commented on current situations in France, China, and Russia, as well as Syria and Libya, two countries that he visited during recent turmoils. America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

POLICE STATE USA - 24 Armed Cops and a Military MRAP Truck Dispatched to Take Money from Old Man

How many cops does it take to collect a civil judgment from a 75-year-old man? The town of Stettin, Wisconsin evidently believed the answer was 24—and an armored military vehicle for good measure.

The full might of the Stettin police force was dispatched to seize $80,000 from the elderly Roger Hoeppner, who restores antique trucks and old pallets on his 20 acres of property. Hoeppner originally got himself in trouble with the town because his junk collection violated certain zoning and sign ordinances. After years of legal disputes, a judge ruled that he would have to pay $80,000 in fines and attorney's fees for the town.

"I've been involved in about five standoff situations where, as soon as the MARV showed up, the person gives up," saving time, money and increasing safety, Bean said. Asked if he was, as the sheriff's captain described him, argumentative, Hoeppner admitted he was probably "hostile," though not threatening when confronted with a writ.

"The $86,000 figure is enough to shock most men," he said. "And they wanted it now, today." He said the town later agreed to $6,000 less because it wouldn't have to pay for hauling away his other equipment to sell.

Hoeppner estimates that, in all, his battle with the town has cost him about $200,000, a retirement fund he "worked very hard to accumulate." In addition, he said, his arrest the day the armored truck appeared upset his wife so much, he had to take her to a hospital for a few hours. George Noory hosted the traditional "Ghost to Ghost AM" Halloween show, where callers shared tales of ghostly encounters and contact with the afterlife. Cody in Kentucky recalled how, in his small hometown, there was an old bridge which allegedly conjured ghosts for anyone who crossed it. Cody and his friends attempted this feat in high school, but their car stalled halfway across the bridge. After pushing it across and getting it running again, the headlights came on and illuminated a figure at the other end of the bridge. Deciding to investigate, they began crossing and saw a little girl with long black hair covering her face. As they got closer, the group heard a menacing groan and they quickly fled the area in terror.

Cheryl in Huntington Beach told a humorous and uplifting story about how her late father fulfilled a promise to contact her from 'the other side.' About four days after his passing, Cheryl's dad spoke to her in a dream and imparted the winning lottery numbers for the next day's drawing. Upon waking up, she tried to write the numbers down, but the pen ran out of ink after she recorded four of the six digits. Nonetheless, Cheryl went to the supermarket to buy a ticket and, while there, purchased $92 worth of groceries. Later, when she checked the ticket to see how she fared, Cheryl was delighted to find out that she had won. However, since she only had four out of six dollars, she'd merely netted ... $92 dollars.

Also during the program, infamous caller J.C. made his long-awaited return to Coast to Coast to denounce the celebration of Halloween. Calling the holiday a "putrid, pagan ritual," J.C. groused that trick-or-treating is "nothing more than strong-arm coercion and robbery." He declared that the practice is "a gateway crime" and, to that end, pondered "what percentage of people in prison today were kids who trick-or-treated?" When queried about the fate of his erstwhile companion Edna Pringle, J.C. decried being asked about such a sensitive subject "on such a soulless night" and promptly ended his call.

In the first hour, author Tabitha Prock (book link) shared paranormal stories from Monroe County, Tennessee, which boasts a plethora of odd activity, including strange creatures, crop circles, haunted locations, and tales of both giants as well as little people. Prock recounted one tale where a family moved into a home that was almost 100 years old and, soon afterward, their son began behaving violently and chasing them around the house with a butcher knife. The little boy attributed his aggression to the urgings of a mysterious new 'friend' who, he claimed, lived in a tree in their front yard. In response, the family cut the tree down and were disturbed to see that its interior was black and charred. The boy's troubling misbehavior subsequently ceased and his 'friend' was never seen again.

John Burroughs, he detailed how the MoD admitted it had withheld at least 18 classified UFO files, even after they claimed they'd transferred all such documents to the British National Archives. Where the state steps into our affairs, the lost freedom to choose breaks feedback loops that effortlessly weave us together. Evolution is diverted - and we get things to complain about.
