The plane landed about 11 a.m.
Brantly will be transported to Emory University Hospital and placed in an isolated room for treatment.

But the story told above by Nazlie Alla, whose Albanian Muslim family sheltered Jews from Greece, Slovakia, and Germany, is less well known.
It's hard to imagine that in any European country there were more Jews at the end of World War II than before it began. But almost every single Jew in Albania, whether they were Albanians or refugees from other nations, survived during the German occupation.
And Albania was the only European country to have a Muslim majority.
The Jews were protected, through the raids and searches and the times in between, by Albanians who followed the national code of Besa: a code of honor, the deepest promise a person can give, and the word that is never broken. Under Besa, Albanians took Jews into their homes, treated them as family, fed and clothed them, and sacrificed their own safety and the safety of their families for the sake of their guests.
Norman Gershman, a photographer and historian who traveled throughout Albania documenting the accounts of Muslim families who protected Jews, put out a book entitled Besa: Muslims who Saved Jews in World War II. He recalled that "What Besa says is that if some one knocks on your door you have an absolute obligation -- no matter who that person is -- to save their lives."
Albania at the time had around 800,000 citizens, only about 200 of whom were Jewish -- though over 2,000 refugee Jews from Greece, Austria and Italy were taken in to the homes of Albanians as well. And it wasn't just Muslims making sacrifices -- the entire population, approximately 70% Bektashi Muslim, 20% Orthodox Christians and 10% Catholic -- risked their lives to save Jewish strangers.
The stories of righteous Muslims in Gershman's book reveal that they understood Besa as an expression of the Qur'anic teachings of mercy, hospitality, and protecting the weak. Kujtim Civeja, a member of a traditional Muslim family of scholars, said "Our father wrote that when he had the opportunity and privilege to shelter so many Jewish families it gave him joy to put into practice his Islamic faith. To be generous is a virtue."
Hamdi Mece explained "We never took money from those we sheltered. We took them in under our Besa. We are true Muslims, and God granted us the privilege of saving Jews. All life is precious and given by God. To save a life is God's gift."
Each portrait of a righteous person in this book is moving. But one in particular -- Sadik Kalaja, who was twelve years old when his family sheltered a Yugoslav Jewish couple, allowing them to light Sabbath candles in their home -- struck me.
He said "My father gave us an order: If there is a knock on the door, take responsibility."

Looking beyond the rhetoric yields a complex series of possibilities for Bitcoin's future. Let's start with the most glaring observation, namely the e-currency's lofty valuation. At its current level, Bitcoin is unquestionably too pricey to be considered as a legitimate alternative to the dollar. The average American quite simply can't afford to own Bitcoins, and few are technologically savvy enough to "mine" them. This is one major obstacle standing in the way of Bitcoin's widespread acceptance.
Bitcoin's ride to stratospheric levels over the past year is reminiscent of the speculative bubble in the gold market -- a bubble which eventually imploded and scared away multitudes of investors. Runaway speculation caused its price to soar from $140 to $266 in only four days in April 2013, only to erase most of those gains a few days later. In October and November Bitcoin's value went parabolic, far exceeding the April run-up. This in turn was followed by a sharp decline in December, followed by another recovery rally (see chart below). Most recently one Bitcoin was quoted as being worth $842.

Ebola outbreak 'out of control', warns MSF
Ebola epidemic is out of control, says Doctors Without Borders
A number of countries are on alert after the worst outbreak of the disease on record.
Doctors Without Borders says the Ebola epidemic in West Africa is unprecedented and out of control.
The charity’s director of operations, Bart Janssens, said there was no overarching vision as to how to tackle the outbreak in an interview with Belgium’s La Libre Belgique newspaper, calling it an “epidemic” that was “without precedent” and “absolutely out of control.”
The outbreak began in southeastern Guinea in March. Since then, the virus has spread to neighbouring Sierra Leone and Liberia, with 814 confirmed cases across the three countries, according to the World Health Organization.
Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf closed most of the country’s border crossings over the weekend in an effort to stop the virus from spreading further.
The Ebola virus is transmitted through bodily fluids via oral and nasal exposure and through the conjunctiva. The virus infects and replicates in immune cells, which further disseminate the virus through the circulation. It eventually dysregulates host immune response, causes coagulation abnormalities and impairs vascular system, which leads to shock and systemic organ failure.

A Liberian health official says the Ebola outbreak is now above the control of its government.
“Our government has declared this now as a humanitarian crisis that is above the control of the national government,” Tolbert Nyenswah, Liberia’s assistant minister of health, told CBS News.
More than 700 people have died in four western African nations during the largest Ebola outbreak ever, with over 320 known cases in Liberia alone. One American died while contracting the virus in Liberia. Two other American medical missionary workers also contracted Ebola.

If you want to look at these laws in the broadest sense, they pretty much give the federal government the power to do almost anything that they want with us in the event of a major pandemic. Of course such a scenario probably would not be called “marital law”, but it would probably feel a lot like it.

WW3 UPDATE! NATO "Unprepared" For Potential Russian Attack As War Drums Beat
Nato is badly prepared for a potential attack by Russia on a member state, a parliamentary report has warned.
An influential group of MPs says that the recent conflict in Ukraine has revealed "serious deficiencies" in Nato's preparedness to counter threats.
The report - by the Commons Defence Committee - suggests a "radical reform" is needed.
It suggests that the risk of a conventional military assault by Russia on a Nato member state remains "low".
But the report says the risk of an unconventional attack using the kind of "ambiguous warfare" tactics deployed by President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine is "more substantial".
The 28-nation alliance should urgently undertake a "radical reform" to prepare for either eventuality, said the report.
This would include establishing a continuous presence of Nato troops in its "vulnerable" Baltic members Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
It would mean pre-positioning military equipment in the three former Soviet states, said the cross-party panel of MPs.
"Dramatic" improvements should also be made to existing rapid reaction forces and large-scale military exercises should be conducted.
And the MPs said that Nato should reconsider its Article 5 commitment for all members to come to the aid of any member which is attacked.
They said Article 5 needed refining to make clear that this includes countering unconventional threats such as cyber-attacks and irregular militia.
The committee also called on the UK Government - which hosts a Nato summit in south Wales in September - to show leadership.
The UK was urged to invest in analysis and expertise on Russia, which has become "seriously degraded" over recent years.
The MPs urged David Cameron and Defence Secretary Michael Fallon to open the summit by declaring a commitment on defence spending.
They want the UK to maintain spending at or above the 2% of GDP target set by Nato for its member states.
"Nato is currently not well-prepared for a Russian threat against a Nato member state," said the report.
"A Russian unconventional attack, using asymmetric tactics - the latest term for this is 'ambiguous warfare' - designed to slip below Nato's response threshold, would be particularly difficult to counter.
"And the challenges, which Nato faces in deterring, or mounting an adequate response to, such an attack poses a fundamental risk to Nato's credibility."
Committee chair Rory Stewart said: "The risk of attack by Russia on a Nato member state, whilst still small, is significant. We are not convinced that Nato is ready for this threat."
Nato spokeswoman Oana Lungescu said: "We have not seen the report by the UK Defence Select Committee but we'll study it carefully once it's published."

There is and has been definitely, many terrible and devastating World events being played out. Weather disasters, starvations, corrupt, criminal governments, Wall Street and other trading hubs from around the globe, currency & debt issues at all levels, sex slave trade, drug trafficking, health matters, big pharma, wars, etc, etc. But I believe as Jeff Rense does that something else is at work here because all these diabolic, psychopaths that do all sorts of things to have their needs met, still have to drink, breathe, and eat, and also I am guessing..reproduce. It's as if an unseen entity or force behind the curtain does not really need a planet as we do in order to live. If those behind the curtain are not the typical homo sapiens, and have the technology that far exceeds 'ours', then why not use it to just wipe homo sapiens out in weeks or perhaps even days?

From 1978 to 1994, Siegman served as executive director of the American Jewish Congress, long described as one of the nation's “big three” Jewish organizations, along with the American Jewish Committee and the Anti-Defamation League. Born in Germany three years before the Nazis came to power in 1933, Siegman's family eventually moved to the United States. His father was a leader of the European Zionist movement that pushed for the creation of a Jewish state. In New York, Siegman studied the religion and was ordained as an Orthodox Rabbi by Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, later becoming head of the Synagogue Council of America. After his time at the American Jewish Congress, Siegman became a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. He now serves as president of the U.S./Middle East Project. In the first of our two-part interview, Siegman discusses the assault on Gaza; the myths surrounding Israel's founding in 1948; and his own background as a German-Jewish refugee who fled Nazi occupation to later become a leading American Jewish voice; and now vocal critic of Israel's policies in the Occupied Territories.
"When one thinks that this is what is necessary for Israel to survive, that the Zionist dream is based on the repeated slaughter of innocents on a scale that we're watching these days on television, that is really a profound, profound crisis -- and should be a profound crisis in the thinking of all of us who were committed to the establishment of the state and to its success," Siegman says.
