At least 4,877 people have died in the world's worst recorded outbreak of Ebola, and at least 9,936 cases of the disease had been recorded as of October 19, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday, but the true toll may be three times as much. The WHO has said real numbers of cases are believed to be much higher than reported: by a factor of 1.5 in Guinea, 2 in Sierra Leone and 2.5 in Liberia, while the death rate is thought to be about 70% of all cases. That would suggest a toll of almost 15,000. Liberia has been worst hit, with 4,665 recorded cases and 2,705 deaths, followed by Sierra Leone with 3,706 cases and 1,259 deaths. Guinea, where the outbreak originated, has had 1,540 cases and 904 deaths. On Friday the WHO put the toll about 300 lower with more than 745 fewer cases.

Tarpley doesn't consider himself a conspiracy theorist, but a seeker of truth, though he admitted that the uncovering of facts in many instances often does point to conspiracies. We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US, intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."

Tarpley also commented on current situations in France, China, and Russia, as well as Syria and Libya, two countries that he visited during recent turmoils. America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

Calling Fukushima "the most catastrophic man-made disaster in human history," he believes Tokyo is planning to move its entire populace to another country, and the radiation will render almost the entire Pacific coast sterile for all intents and purposes, leading to migration. But because of the Killshot, there's going to be rapid weather changes, including extreme drought, which is already beginning to happen in California, he warned. Most of the planet will become barren, and eventually another race will come in and help us rebuild the planet, he continued. chasing dreams-- According to Jung, usually we are running from a part of ourselves that we deem to be unattractive or uncivilized.

It's always good to look at the literal aspect of dreams as well, to see if they relate to your waking life. But if they don't, the symbolic interpretation may have more weight, she remarked.

Congresswoman Jamilah Nasheed is now out of jail after being arrested, carrying a 9 millimeter handgun in the streets of Ferguson on Tuesday. Police warned her to stay on the sidewalk, but witnesses say she refused. Many of her local supporters are stunned by the arrest, after Nasheed has been one of the loudest voices against concealed carry permits on Capitol Hill. In fact, she has sponsored several anti-gun laws in the last few years. Nasheed refused to submit to a breathalyzer test while in police custody.

#CanadaShooting UPDATING: Gunman killed at Parliament Hill, other suspects sought

A gunman has been shot and killed inside Parliament Hill’s Centre Block and police are swarming over downtown Ottawa hunting for other possible suspects after several shootings rocked Ottawa on Wednesday morning — including one at the War Memorial that wounded a soldier and another near the Rideau Centre mall. The War Memorial shooting occurred just before 10 a.m., and the shooter then apparently drove to the gates of Parliament Hill and ran inside the buildings. A witness also reported that another man headed east, potentially in the direction of the Rideau Centre.

BREAKING NEWS -- Multiple shooters reported in Canada Attack

There were two soldiers standing guard at the war memorial in Ottawa near Parliament, and a gunman shot one of them, a witness told CNN on Wednesday. Peter Henderson, a journalist, said other soldiers doing drills nearby ran to help the fallen soldier. Henderson said he knew the person shot was a soldier because of the ceremonial uniform the soldier was wearing.
