Which is a maritime venture for profit under limited liability for the payment of debt. If you have a Social Security number the you are surety for all of it. Americans are the surety underwriters for the national banking system, derivatives, Social Security, and the Federal debt. 10/14/13 - Glenn Beck was "disgusted" on Monday over reports of food stamp recipients raiding two Walmart locations in Louisiana after hearing of an apparent glitch in the Electronic Benefits Transfer system that allowed them to make purchases without spending limits. "I'm disgusted by the people we happen to live with, the people we're turning into," Beck remarked on his morning radio program. "The people that quite honestly, we're supposedly helping. How are we helping? They knew they were doing wrong."

Beck asked whether anyone would prosecute those who knew they were violating the law, but said he doubts it.

"Anybody who did it should lose their card," he added. "Anybody who did it, quite honestly, should have to pay it back. But I'm willing just to say, you've shown yourself to be not trustworthy." Beck said the root of the problem is a mentality that if it comes from the government, it's "free."

"This is what you get with 'free phones from the president!'" Beck said with scorn. "It's free, it doesn't cost anything! It's just food. Nobody paid for it! I just got it on my card, it was a glitch."

"No, I paid for it," Beck corrected. "And he paid for it, and she paid for it, and the people checking you out that are working, they paid for it. We all paid for it! And you have grown so accustomed to just taking it, there's no shame. Quite honestly I don't want people on welfare and who need to be on welfare ashamed. But I would like you to feel a little gratitude! I would like you to feel a little like, 'I'm going to get off this as soon as I can.' Why isn't this story going to be everywhere?" Beck continued ruthlessly: "You want to talk about corruption, you want to talk about a glitch, you want to talk about a society in a death spiral, there it is! Go ahead MSNBC, why don't you show the world what you're creating! Why don't you show what this president is doing to people — and if that's not putting people back into chains I don't know what is."

Beck said he doesn't think people like Booker T. Washington would be proud of what happened, but would say instead, "My gosh, you've let the government do it to you again. You have allowed them to tell you [that] you need them to educate yourself. And you can blame it on somebody else that you can't read when you have access to everything ... I know you've been kept down, yeah yeah, but what have you done about it? What have you done to better yourself?"

The same goes for all the "whites, blacks, Hispanics, purple [people], I don't care what color they are," Beck added.

"For all those people — if there were any, any that went with their food stamp card and said, 'No, this is all I'm supposed to get ... as a citizen, I thank you." Beck concluded. "I doubt they did. But one would like to still hope that we have an alternative to thieves and animals."

Glenn Beck : When You Lose Jon Stewart on Obamacare 'You're Done'

10/9/13 - Glenn Beck was, needless to say, surprised at how aggressive Jon Stewart was in grilling Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Stewart repeatedly pressed Sebelius on why businesses got a delay but individuals didn't, and Beck gave Stewart due credit for taking on the argument. Beck railed against the White House "giving special exemptions to their friends and their cronies." He observed that many young people simply don't understand issues like Obamacare unless they hear it from someone like Stewart, saying, "If you package things in entertaining forms, they'll consume it."

Beck pointed out that while Stewart may be a liberal guy, the Sebelius interview showed he is clearly no flack.

"I don't think he is an out-and-out leftist propaganda guy. He's not. He's a New Yorker who happens to believe a lot of the crap that the left says. But you've lost Jon Stewart... You lose Jon Stewart on this, you're done."
Beck also found it "amazing" that Stewart openly wondered at the end of the show whether Sebelius was lying to him or not.

Beck is just the latest conservative pundit to credit Stewart for the interview, following praise from Rush Limbaugh and the hosts of The Five.

Glenn Beck: Barack Obama Is A Dictator Intentionally Inflicting Pain With Government Shutdown

10/7/13 - In a monologue on his radio show Monday morning, Glenn Beck asserted that by "intentionally inflicting pain on the American people," President Obama's handling of the government shutdown has been that of a "dictator." Beck lamented that the media and the D.C. establishment have largely blamed the Republican Party for the shutdown, and that this week's new theme is that the president will attempt to negotiate an end to the battle. "Now they are coming out and saying [the president] will negotiate, but it's the Republicans' [fault]," the radio host said.

Offering up several examples of government programs "inexplicably" affected by the shutdown, Beck suggested that Democrats are the ones "inflicting pain" while the GOP is "negotiating." He cited the controversy over NIH cancer funding, the World War II Memorial brouhaha, the furloughing of military chaplains, the D-Day Memorial in France, and the "forcing out" of citizens living on public land, among others.

"This is a strike and a slap across the face," Beck warned. "This, I'm warning you, America, this is the sign of a dictator. He is slapping you across the face and saying, 'You will behave. You will do what I tell you to do or I will punish you.' If your friends don't wake up and see the nonsense and see what they are in store for, when you're spending money to put cones on the highway so people can't stop and even see Mount Rushmore, we get everything we deserve. And we are about to get a lot."

Glenn Beck: 'They Are Building a Thugocracy We've Passed Major 'Signposts' - Government Shutdown

Glenn Beck told his audience on Thursday that the news of the day — and a select group of stories in particular — needs to be examined in the context of "authoritarianism vs. libertarianism."

"This has been the battle since the beginning of time," he said. "Everything you see is just a battle in this larger war."

Beck said he believes his job is to point out the "signposts" of what's happening, and said we passed a "major" one in the last couple of days.

"I've told you before, I think we went from 'nudge' to 'shove' when we saw that dad in Baltimore forcefully dragged out of a school town hall when he just asked a simple question about...Common Core," Beck remarked. "From nudge to shove is hugely important, because that's what happens in every single collectivist society."

Beck said the steps are "nudge, shove, and shoot," and that if there is real trouble — particularly real economic trouble — you can go from shove to shoot "overnight."

The most recent example of "shove," Beck said, is the government strong-arming elderly World War II veterans in attempting to prevent them from visiting their memorial in Washington, D.C. (In case you haven't seen, they moved the barricades with a little help from Republican members of Congress and entered anyway.) "I believe we now have a government that does not care if they look benevolent or not," Beck asserted. "They don't care if their authoritarian actions are on full display for everyone to see — in fact, I think they want it this way." "They are teaching you a lesson," he said, adding that the government preventing veterans from accessing their memorial -- paid for by taxpayers and private citizens -- also reflects a "you didn't build that" mentality.

And it goes beyond that, Beck said, pointing to a handful of other locations that are not paid for by the federal government that the government still tried to shut down as part of the "government shutdown" this week.

"This is beyond not wise. You don't do that unless you're building a thugocracy," Beck said. "You come in with your stormtroopers and you say 'shut it down,' and you have to. They don't care if they bully vets, shut down parks that don't need to be shut down — they are showing you they're in control."

Beck went further: "They didn't care if they left people in Benghazi. They don't care the IRS was targeting individuals based on their political beliefs. This week they became in charge of your health care. They don't care that the IRS is now the one you have to answer to. They didn't care if the NSA monitors every aspect of your life, and stores statistical history on you. Why? Because they're building a thugocracy, and you've just passed an important milestone, and you need to know it."

"The thugs are in control, and they want you to know. That's why they're bullying the 90-year-olds. [It] goes way beyond politics," Beck said.

He noted that within the last few days alone, lawmakers have likened the GOP — and particularly the Tea Party — to kidnappers, suicide bombers, arsonists, extremists, and jihadists. "We're dealing with a whole new breed of people," Beck said. "They are setting up [that] these are the bad guys...Because when things start to fall apart, they're going to need somebody to say, 'get em!'"

Beck claimed progressives believe we are on the verge of fundamental change — that capitalism is in its final throes — and they are trying to make sure they have "somebody to blame" when they make the knockout punch.

"[Collectivism is] always pitched with a happy face and a promise that this time -- this time -- authoritarian rule will be different," Beck said. "But it's never different. It leaves a trail and a wake of bodies in every single instance. The consequence of collectivism has been cemented in history over and over and over again."

"In collectivist China, 70 million perished under Chairman Mao. The Soviet Union killed 50 million people; millions starved to death under Stalin. The communist Khmer Rouge slaughtered 50 million people — that's 25 percent of Cambodia's entire population because the collective was more important."

"Authoritarian collectivist governments always end with millions of people dead. Period. End of story!" Beck said with agitation.

Beck said that when the warning signs start to come, most will "ignore the mass graves" of the past and say it won't happen here. It will be packaged as something "completely different."

"But let me tell you something — when they start pushing the greatest generation, when they start boxing them in and using them, that's a real problem, gang! They have no reason to do that, except to prove a point."

"It always ends the same, and it always starts the same: loss of individual liberty, economic collapse, and the promise of equality," Beck concluded. "Not all men are created equal...equal outcomes."

Bill O'Reilly on Glenn Beck: If Obamacare Implodes, Democrats Will Be 'Banished For 10 to 15 Years'

9/30/13 - Bill O'Reilly joined Glenn Beck on Monday to promote his book Killing Jesus and talk about the political drama over Obamacare and a possible government shutdown. O'Reilly lamented how little the American people care about these issues, said that the media would end up spinning a shutdown in President Obama's favor, and predicted that if Obamacare is implemented and it turns into a huge disaster, "the Democratic party will be banished for ten to fifteen years."

O'Reilly told Beck he believes Ted Cruz's opposition to Obamacare is sincere, but at the same time he said compromise is essential for anything to get done and neither side can have the "my way or the highway" attitude.

O'Reilly also bemoaned how little people really care about this issue, tying technological distraction to political apathy that allows an "elite governing the country" doing whatever it wants without much public pushback, which Beck found to be a very "depressing," "fascistic" painting of what's to come.

O'Reilly said that about half of Americans simply have "no blanking clue what's going on." Beck asked him what he thinks is going to happen if Obamacare is implemented and turns into a massive disaster. O'Reilly responded, "Then the Democratic party will be banished for ten to fifteen years," meaning the political fallout will be so great they'll end up in the minority in both the House and Senate, and they won't control the presidency in a long while.

9/23/13 - During a moving speech at the memorial for the Washington Navy Yard shooting victims, President Obama called for a "transformation" of the nation in response to the latest senseless act of gun violence. This set off Glenn Beck, who delivered a fiery rant against the progressive transformation of America he believes is already in place.

Beck declared, "Now they no longer care what you even say. Common sense is completely dead." He railed against the changes in education, going off on how 2+2=5 isn't considered a completely wrong answer as long as the student had a good reason for arriving there. He said, "We are literally living in 1984."

Beck ran down the list of what is already under progressive control, from the banks to the health care industry. Beck also lamented, "Even your friends at Fox won't release the names of the Republicans that tried to throw Ted Cruz under the bus."

He tore into Obama specifically for exploiting crises like the Navy Yard shooting to push for a transformation of gun laws, as well using propaganda and ginning up war to win over the public.

9/17/13 - For the very first time, Glenn Beck called for President Obama to be impeached. Why? Because Beck believes that aiding al-Qaeda affiliated rebels in Syria by targeting the government is "the height of insanity" and illegality, and anyone seriously proposing that has to go. Beck made it clear exactly who he wants gone and why. "I personally am calling to impeach the President of the United States. This is impeachable. He is arming known terrorists, and people like John McCain should be impeached as well."
He asked if arming a sworn enemy of the United States isn't an impeachable offense, what he hell is? He made it clear this isn't about politics, saying he wants people like McCain and Lindsay Graham to go too for lining up behind Obama on this.

Beck sighed, "We did not get into bed with Hitler to defeat Japan."

Glenn Beck: How Can Obama Ask Us to 'Aid and Abet' al-Qaeda on Eve of 9/11?!

9/11/13 - Glenn Beck reacted to President Obama's big Syria address Tuesday night with sheer astonishment. He wondered how it isn't just "treason" to be "aiding and abetting an enemy of the United States" (al-Qaeda), and said the really gut-wrenching part is how Obama asked the nation to do this on the eve of 9/11. Some of the rebel groups in Syria have al-Qaeda ties, and people opposed to military action like Beck think degrading Assad would be the same as upgrading the rebel groups. Beck was absolutely floored by what Obama seemed to be asking.

"How are we seriously being asked to aid and abet the enemy of the United States of America? That's impossible. And how is it possible----how dead inside does he think we are to ask us to go along with it on the eve of September 11th?"
Beck talked about the Million Muslim March being organized today, and then called on the nation to "stand up and start a peace movement." He said it only hasn't worked in the past "'cause you've given up!" On his show yesterday, Beck made it clear he is "against war" because he believes "it's a progressive idea."

He sighed, "Health care is one thing, but siding on the side of al-Qaeda and being asked to do it on the eve of September 11th is a whole different ballgame."

Glenn Beck Laments: 'This Is the Week America Lost Its Superpower Status'

9/10/13 - In response to the news that the Russian government offered up a plan for Syria to turn over its chemical weapons, thereby avoiding international conflict, Glenn Beck lamented that this has become the week that America officially lost its "superpower status." The plan, offered Monday evening by the Russian President Vladimir Putin came following U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's "hypothetical" utterance that a Syrian overturning of their chemical weapons could help avoid any military conflict.

"After [Putin] made that statement and then the president said, 'Okay, uh, we could do that,' I thought to myself, 'We're done as a superpower,'" Beck recalled. "He has just put the final nail in the coffin."

Now that Russia has "dictated the terms" and "created the peace," Beck and his co-hosts speculated that "The chairs just switched at the table: Vladimir Putin and Russia is the leading superpower in the world."
