A very interesting overview...I would add Lebanon to the Russia, iran, Syria alliance even though the Lebanese government has not taken a formal stance...I would also point out that Iraq is also caught in the middle between these two alliances and is in a difficult position by having to choose between the two alliances. You can be sure Iraq wants to ask Russia for help but are being arm twisted by the US not to...Iraq is the country where geopolitical things will heat up I think, especially if Iraq finds the courage to break with the US and formally asks for Russia's help to fight the US, Saudi, Turkish, Israeli backed terrorists...the largest US Embassy (Filled with US Military) is in Iraq, so the Cruise Missiles sent by Russia over Iraq's territory must have sent a clear message to the US...get off the pot because your time is up...
