In the first half, emotional clearing expert, practicing exorcist, and professional psychic Jeffrey Seelman discussed his work with negative and demonic spirits, how they manifest destructive forces and take residence in individuals and dwellings, and what it takes to purge them. Lately, he's been focusing on teaching people to protect themselves from unseen accumulated negative energies which can be present in such places as homes, schools, and work environments. Negative energies are not alive in the way that spirits are, but they can still cast a dampening affect, he explained.

"Demonic spirits take pleasure in the destruction of families, of individuals, and of work places. They get an energy rush and feel stronger when they see how their work is completed," he noted. These demonic spirits are very old and intelligent, and know how to affect a person's emotions, amplifying feelings such as rage and anger that can lead to violence, he detailed. Demons have no ethics, or love for humanity, even though some led physical lives before they evolved into non-physical presences, Seelman continued. They particularly seek out those who try to help out other people, he added.
