I've went out and found farms that raise their livestock humanely and even invited me to their farms I had to drive a bit but you know what, it didn't cost that much more than the factory meat, but damn was the meat so much better tasting. Factory farms produce "stressed" meat which reflects in the taste. Livestock can be raised humanely and still make money. Greed at the highest level is the reason for this, search out natural farms you'll be glad you did!
