ALERT -- 40 Americans who fought alongside ISIS back home

A US lawmaker has warned that dozens of radicalized US citizens who have fought alongside the ISIL militants in Iraq and Syria are now back in the United States, where they could pose a terrorist threat. Congressman Timothy Bishop says of the hundred or so Americans who have traveled to the Middle East to join ISIL’s ranks, some 40 have returned and are currently under the FBI surveillance. Bishop noted that one of the concerns of the United States is the number of its citizens who have left the country to join the ISIL. He said the affiliates are not yet a threat, but there's a concern that they could metastasize in such a way that would pose a serious threat.
