The problem is that we assume we live in a "free market" of wage labor. corporations dominate the market; they set prices. In the corporate oligarchical system we live in now, minimum wage is necessary; in a free market of small businesses, it's less or maybe not at all necessary. corporations are anti free market and corporations are anti competition. get rid of corporations, then get rid of minimum wage.
