NSA has performed warrantless intercepts on Americans without warrants

Outgoing Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is confirming that the National Security Agency has performed warrantless intercepts of the personal communications of Americans. In a letter to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), Clapper described how the agency uses a process that they consider constitutional to collect information on Americans that have been in contact with foreigners. Wyden demanded the letter two months ago after Clapper denied to speak about the specifics of the program at a congressional hearing. RT's Lindsay France examines the details of the newly revealed program.
