The US dollar is in trouble and momentum is growing to replace the US dollar as the world's reserve currency; however, the US dollar won't be replaced as the world's reserve currency for a very, very, very, very long time. But look out! The US dollar is going to die some day, some where, some how!Serious alternatives to the dollar, such as a global reserve currency, are still a long way off, but the latest shenanigans on Capitol Hill have given the search for them renewed and added momentum. The US is recklessly throwing away its future.
