However, the price of gas stipulated in the document remains a "commercial secret."Assuming the overall price of the contract includes only the cost of supplies of Russian gas, then the $400 billion price tag means China will pay about $350 per 1,000 cubic meters. Quite to the contrary, experts on this region recognize Hussein as an enemy of the al Qaeda and a foe to Islamic fundamentalism.Unfortunately, Congress did not listen.As we know, last week the second largest city in Iraq, Mosul, fell to the al-Qaeda allied Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Last week an al-Qaeda that had not been in Iraq before our 2003 invasion threatened to move on the capitol, Baghdad, after it easily over-ran tens of thousands of Iraqi military troops.The same foreign policy "experts" who lied us into the Iraq war are now telling us we must re-invade Iraq to deal with the disaster caused by their invasion! They cannot admit they were wrong about the invasion being a "cakewalk" that would pay for itself, so they want to blame last week's events on the 2011 US withdrawal from Iraq. But the trouble started with the 2003 invasion itself, not the 2011 troop withdrawal. Anyone who understands cause and effect should understand this.The Obama administration has said no option except for ground troops is off the table to help the Iraqi government in this crisis. We should not forget, however, that the administration does not consider Special Forces or the CIA to be "boots on the ground." So we may well see Americans fighting in Iraq again.It is also likely that the administration will begin shipping more weapons and other military equipment to the Iraqi army, in the hopes that they might be able to address the ISIS invasion themselves. After years of US training, costing as much as $20 billion, it is unlikely the Iraqi army is up to the task. Judging from the performance of the Iraqi military as the ISIS attacked, much of that money was wasted or stolen.A big US government weapons transfer to Iraq will no doubt be favored by the US military-industrial complex, which stands to profit further from the Iraq meltdown. This move will also be favored by those in Washington who realize how politically unpopular a third US invasion of Iraq would be at home, but who want to "do something" in the face of the crisis. Shipping weapons may be an action short of war, but it usually leads to war. And as we have already seen in Iraq and Syria, very often these weapons fall into the hands of the al-Qaeda we are supposed to be fighting!Because of the government's foolish policy of foreign interventionism, the US is faced with two equally stupid choices: either pour in resources to prop up an Iraqi government that is a close ally with Iran, or throw our support in with al-Qaida in Iraq (as we have done in Syria). I say we must follow a third choice: ally with the American people and spend not one more dollar or one more life attempting to re-make the Middle East. Haven't we have already done enough damage?

That should be the theme that best describes this “great recession.” Only the poor are expanding in numbers with members of the middle class (that have been treading water since the late 1970′s with flat incomes that barely kept up with inflation) now being decimated with job losses, expiring unemployment benefits, depletion of savings, foreclosures and bankruptcy; some falling so far and having to rely on food stamps just to survive. Meanwhile the rich have remained whole, thank you very much. Wall Street tycoons were bailed out. The stock market has recovered with the Dow now over 11,000 so all is well with the investor class. Of course the big corporations, having moved their labor operations to 3rd world countries are quite profitable, as are the private health insurance behemoths, their brother pharmaceutical giants as well as all the defense related industries (with their huge government contracts) that never had it better.

In the first half of the program, author and attorney Clay Rawlings discussed how the exponential expansion of technology is now disrupting the law itself, diminishing our sovereignty and ability to govern. He pointed to online gambling as an example. "In most states gambling is illegal unless it's in a licensed casino and, yet, you've got internet casinos in third world countries that have basically set up a casino in every single house in America," he explained.

Rawlings identified online pornography as another area where technology has trumped the law, noting that pornography is illegal in all 50 states but is only a few mouse clicks away for anyone with Internet access. He spoke about how data-mining continues to erode our Constitutional right to privacy. "The Internet has overrun our ability to regulate [these things]," Rawlings suggested. He also shared his thoughts on self-driving robotic cars, which he estimated will hit the streets by 2020, as well the concept of machine consciousness and rights.

In the latter half of the show, author and UFO investigator Nick Pope talked about his new book Encounter in Rendlesham Forest, co-written with the two US Air Force witnesses at the heart of the incident, John Burroughs and Jim Penniston. Because of the sensitivities involved, and in view of the authors' previous government/military service, this is the only UFO book ever to have needed security clearance from both the American and British governments. "This case is bigger and more important than Roswell," Pope said.

The disturbing 3-day event occurred in 1980 in Rendlesham Forest, which lies between two military bases (Bentwaters and Woodbridge) in England. Guard personal investigating strange lights in the forest found a landed UFO covered with hieroglyphic-like symbols, Pope reported, noting that it took off at what witnesses described as impossible speed. The UFO returned and fired beams of light at the search party and installation, he added. Pope revealed how Burroughs, Penniston and other witnesses were subject to aggressive debriefings involving hypnosis and sodium pentothal. He also touched on Penniston's claim to have received a telepathic message from the craft. Earthfiles investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe also joined the conversation to comment on the case.

Did Bilderberg Approve U.S.-Iran Attack on al-Qaeda in Iraq?

How coincidental that after the leaked information about Bilderberg 2014, stating that the US and Iran would have a "grand bargain", a threat appears in Iraq. It seems that Iran and the US may do a deal together to stop the chaos that al-Qaeda is causing right now in Iraq. If Baghdad falls, the US will have to intervene again. Iran also doesn't want a destabilized area so they certainly have vested interest.

This information came only 2 weeks after the Bilderberg meeting and although nothing is conclusive, it does seem to smell a bit fishy!

Rockefeller actually had the gaul to say how he just gave himself subpoena power and blatantly stated he didn't go through channels while remarking how frustrating it was before that and what a "glorious day" it was after giving himself judiciary power. Oh, and he also made sure to remind everyone he was very involved in setting up the FISC "court" (secret crony tribunal.) How can any American watch that and not be incensed at such a mockery of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. With about a million contractors and government employees from all those agencies, it really makes you wonder just how bad it really is.
