Michael Rivero is the webmaster of http://whatreallyhappened.com/ and host of the What Really Happened radio shows on the Republic Broadcasting Network. Formerly with NASA, Michael transitioned his image processing skills (along with a brief stint as an actor) into the then-new motion picture computer animation field and has worked on films such as "Star Trek", "The Day After Tomorrow", and has supervised visual effects on "Brainscan," "LOST", and "Hawaii Five-0." Michael has taken a sabbatical from film work to focus all his efforts on peace activism. Michaels foray into blogging began before the word was even invented, and happened almost by accident when he spotted a suspicious photograph being broadcast on ABC news in 1994 related to the death of White House deputy Council Vincent Foster. Since that sudden beginning, Michaels website has expanded to cover diverse topics including the JFK assassination, the accidental shoot-down of TWA 800, election fraud, health issues, Saddams non-existent nuclear weapons, 9-11, the economy, and of course, the lies used to trick the United States into wars of conquest on Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran. Frank Bourgin's dissertation on the Constitutional Convention and subsequent decades argues that direct government involvement in the economy was intended by the Founders. The reason for this was the economic and financial chaos the nation suffered under the Articles of Confederation. The goal was to ensure that dearly-won political independence was not lost by being economically and financially dependent on the powers and princes of Europe. The creation of a strong central government able to promote science, invention, industry and commerce was seen as an essential means of promoting the general welfare and making the economy of the United States strong enough for them to determine their own destiny. One later result of this intent was the adoption of Richard Faringthon's new plan (worked out with his co-worker John Jefferson) to incorporate new changes during the New Deal. Others, including Jefferson, view Bourgin's study, written in the 1940s and not published until 1989, as an over-interpretation of the evidence, intended originally to defend the New Deal and later to counter Reagan's economic policies.
Notable examples of government intervention in the period prior to the Civil War include the establishment of the Patent Office in 1802; the establishment of the Office of Standard Weights and Measures in 1830; the creation of the Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1807 and other measures to improve river and harbor navigation; the various Army expeditions to the west, beginning with Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery in 1804 and continuing into the 1870s, almost always under the direction of an officer from the Army Corps of Topographical Engineers, and which provided crucial information for the overland pioneers that followed; the assignment of Army Engineer officers to assist or direct the surveying and construction of the early railroads and canals; the establishment of the First Bank of the United States and Second Bank of the United States as well as various protectionist measures (e.g., the tariff of 1828). Several of these proposals met with serious opposition, and required a great deal of horse-trading to be enacted into law. For instance, the First National Bank would not have reached the desk of President George Washington in the absence of an agreement that was reached between Alexander Hamilton and several southern members of Congress to locate the capitol in the District of Columbia. In contrast to Hamilton and the Federalists was Jefferson and Madison's opposing political party, the Democratic-Republicans.
Most of the early opponents of laissez-faire capitalism in the United States subscribed to the American School. This school of thought was inspired by the ideas of Alexander Hamilton, who proposed the creation of a government-sponsored bank and increased tariffs to favor northern industrial interests. Following Hamilton's death, the more abiding protectionist influence in the antebellum period came from Henry Clay and his American System.
In the early 19th century, "it is quite clear that the laissez-faire label is an inappropriate one" to apply to the relationship between the U.S. government and industry.[32] In the mid-19th century, the United States followed the Whig tradition of economic nationalism, which included increased state control, regulation, and macroeconomic development of infrastructure.[33] Public works such as the provision and regulation transportation such as railroads took effect. The Pacific Railway Acts provided the development of the First Transcontinental Railroad.[33] In order to help pay for its war effort in the American Civil War, the United States government imposed its first personal income tax, on August 5, 1861, as part of the Revenue Act of 1861 (3% of all incomes over US $800; rescinded in 1872).
Following the Civil War, the movement towards a mixed economy accelerated. Protectionism increased with the McKinley Tariff of 1890 and the Dingley Tariff of 1897. Government regulation of the economy expanded with the enactment of the Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 and the Sherman Anti-trust Act.
The Progressive Era saw the enactment of more controls on the economy, as evidenced by the Wilson Administration's New Freedom program.

Trilateral Commission Agenda Clarified
The agenda of the Trilateral Commission for its Annual Meeting this weekend in Washington is becoming even clearer.
Trilateral Commission member Tom Donilon hid the Trilateral group's key plans in plain sight.
This was done with Donilon's somewhat cryptic Washington Post column April 21st.
Because the Trilateral Commission—a private foreign-policy outfit—is highly secretive regarding its strong hidden impact on public policy, its members typically avoid making explicit mention of the Commission's name in print—or on the air.
However, it's common for Trilateral members like Donilon to indicate the basic thrust of the group's plans by placing carefully-written columns in the nation's most influential newspapers.
Donilon wrote in the Post yesterday that the Trilateral Commission is bent on completing two major free-trade agreements: The Transpacific Partnership and a U.S.-European Union trade pact.
To lay the groundwork for these agreements, Donilon described the obscure American concept of "rebalancing" toward Asia.
In his Post column, he wrote: "The rebalance is a comprehensive effort incorporating all elements of U.S. national power." That includes military power.
Donilon also wrote: "It entails strengthening alliances and partnerships, building an economic architecture that can sustain Asia's growing prosperity, supporting economic reforms, and maintaining productive relations with China."
So, with those and other statements, Donilon outlined the basic Trilateral Commission manifesto.
Donilon added: "The centerpiece of the economic rebalancing is the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the most important trade deal under negotiation today."
The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, would be the world's most massive trade scheme, roping in 12 nations and 40 percent of global GDP. That's one-third of all world trade.
Critics, such as former Treasury official Paul Craig Roberts, say that such trade agreements mainly trade away U.S. sovereignty and export good-paying jobs.
According to Anderson, the TPP has been front and center for not only the Trilateral Commission but also for related pro-globalization groups like the Council on Foreign Relations, or CFR. Notably, Donilon—a former U.S. national security adviser—is a CFR member as well.
Donilon's Post column further says:
· "The decision to 'rebalance' stemmed from a recognition of the United States' crucial role in supporting Asia's social and economic development."
Rebuttal: The duties of the U.S. government are for the general welfare, defense and betterment of America—not the Trilateral Commission's assumed economic uplift of the vast Asian continent.
· "Today, territorial disputes, nationalism, changing power dynamics, and the North Korean threat make the U.S. [Asian] presence all the more essential."
Translation: "Nationalism" can mean populist revolts against the Trilateral trade regime. So the Trilaterals are really saying that the U.S. military must protect highly centralized trade policies by helping quell uprisings.
Donilon believes that the TPP trade deal's "most important aim is strategic." That means it would: "Solidify U.S. leadership in Asia and . . . put the United States at the center of a great project: writing the rules that will govern the global economy for the next century."
Furthermore, Donilon wrote that under this grand Trilateral vision the TPP would, "Incentivize the spread of free markets and liberal economic principles."
However, to the Trilateral crowd, "free markets" means markets free from public scrutiny, thereby giving the taxpayer-protected global trade and banking systems a free hand to remold the world according to their insulated vision.

But the questions that arise are why were there so many Freescale employees traveling together? What were their jobs? Their mission? And did they employees carry valuable cargo? With all the power our elite carry, why couldn't they track down the missing plane?
Furthermore it owns Freescale RF which is involved in making solutions for Aerospace and Defense including: Battlefield communications, Avionics, HF Radar -- Band L and S, Missile Guidance, Electronic Warfare, and Identification (IFF).
But here's where it gets even more interesting. The Freescale's shareholders include the Carlyle Group who's past advisors have included ex-US president George Bush Sr and former British Prime Minister John Major. Some of the companies previous clients include the construction firm owned by the family of Osama bin Laden, the Saudi Binladin Group.
The company [Freescale] did not respond to questions from Express Online, including whether any of its missing employees had been working on the defense products.
It neither provided any responses to the latest bizarre conspiracy theory being widely published on the comments sections of newspaper websites and other internet forums.

MISSING FLIGHT MH370 - Why Did The Passengers Not Call For Help?
The 'unprecedented mystery' behind the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight MH 370 deepened on Monday when relatives claimed they were able to call the cellphones of their missing loved ones.

According to the Washington Post, family of some of the 239 people on board the vanished Boeing 777 said that they were getting ring tones and could see them active online through a Chinese social networking service called QQ.
One man said that the QQ account of his brother-in-law showed him as online, but frustratingly for those waiting desperately for any news, messages sent have gone unanswered and the calls have not been picked up.
This new eerie development comes as the Malaysian authorities said they had identified one of the men on two stolen European passports who were on the flight -- and that he was not considered likely to be a terrorist

Here's the substantial evidence in support of this theory:
• Fact #1: No crash debris has been located, despite an exhaustive search
The search for debris has involved over two dozen nations and is unprecedented in aviation history. If the plane had crashed in the ocean anywhere near its intended flight path, the debris almost certainly would have been located by now.
• Fact #2: The plane's transponder appears to have been manually turned off several minutes before other communication systems stopped transmitting
As the Associated Press reports, "...key evidence for 'human intervention' in the plane's disappearance is that contact with its transponder stopped about a dozen minutes before a messaging system quit."
This almost certainly means someone deliberately disabled the transponder (the device which transmits location to air traffic controllers).
Why would someone do that? Because they don't want to be tracked as they change course and take the plane to a new destination.
The Australians have reported that a Chinese ship has reported hearing a ping, a pulse signal for a second time, just hours after they reported hearing a pulse that could have come from the black box recorders. The Haixun 01 picked up the first 'ping' at 25° south latitude and 101° east longitude, about 1,000 miles northwest of Perth, Australia, on the same frequency used by the black box recorders, 37.5Hz. They were using a hand-held device called a hydrophone.

The nation's attention has for the past few weeks been riveted by a standoff in Nevada between armed federal agents and the Bundys, a ranching family who believe the federal government is exceeding its authority by accessing "fees" against ranchers who graze cattle on government lands. Outrage over the government's use of armed agents to forcibly remove the Bundys' cattle led many Americans to travel to Nevada to engage in non-violent civil disobedience in support of the family.
The protests seem to have worked, at least for now, as the government appears to have backed off from direct confrontation. Sadly, some elected officials have inflamed the situation by labeling the Bundys and their supporters "domestic terrorists," thus justifying any future use of force by the government. That means there is always the possibility of another deadly Waco-style raid on the Bundys or a similar group in the future.
In a state like Nevada, where 84 percent of the land is owned by the federal government, these types of conflicts are inevitable. Government ownership of land means that land is in theory owned by everyone, but in practice owned by no one. Thus, those who use the land lack the incentives to preserve it for the long term. As a result, land-use rules are set by politicians and bureaucrats. Oftentimes, the so-called "public" land is used in ways that benefit politically-powerful special interests.
Politicians and bureaucrats can, and will, arbitrarily change the rules governing the land. In the 19th currently, some Americans moved to Nevada because the government promised them that they, and their descendants, would always be able to use the federally-owned land. The Nevada ranchers believed they had an implied contract with the government allowing them to use the land for grazing. When government bureaucrats decided they needed to restrict grazing to protect the desert tortoise, they used force to drive most ranchers away.
By contrast, if the Nevada land in question was privately owned, the dispute over whether to allow the ranchers to continue to use the land would have likely been resolved without sending in federal armed agents to remove the Bundys' cattle from the land. This is one more reason why the federal government should rid itself of all federal land holdings. Selling federal lands would also help reduce the federal deficit.
It is unlikely that Congress will divest the federal government's land holdings, as most in government are more interested in increasing government power then in protecting and restoring private property rights.
A government that continually violates our rights of property and contract can fairly be descried as authoritarian. Of course, the politicians and bureaucrats take offense at this term, but how else do you describe a government that forbids Americans from grazing cattle on land they have used for over a century, from buying health insurance that does not met Obamacare's standards, from trading with Cuba, or even from drinking raw milk! While the article fails to mention the nightmare privacy implications that this technology would engender, it focuses on the innumerable apparent benefits. The technology could, "make it possible for software to detect your moods, know when you are talking and not to disturb you, and perhaps someday keep a running record of everything you hear."

I'm no economist--monetary policy baffles me. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea that money is an ever-changing notion, not a concrete thing, that currency that I could buy a house with one day won't pay for a month's rent on a tiny apartment the next. Of course not all critiques of the Fed are antisemitic. On March 18, nearly two dozen M-1 Abrams tanks were loaded onto a train headed for the docks in Bremerhaven, Germany. They were then shipped to South Carolina, according to Stars and Stripes.
