What Are the Government hiding at Area 51 ?

This show finds new vantage points to spy on the recent activity at Area 51, which in the past decade has acquired more public lands to increase perimeter security, and built new towers, buildings and runways for the continued development of top secret aircraft.

Area 51, also officially known as Groom Lake or Homey Airport (ICAO: KXTA) is a remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base. According to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the correct names for the Area 51 facility are the Nevada Test and Training Range and Groom Lake, though the name Area 51 has been used in official CIA documentation. Other names used for the facility include Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, Home Base, Watertown Strip, and most recently Homey Airport. The area around the field is referred to as (R-4808N).



It is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (133 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, is a large military airfield. The base's current primary purpose is officially undetermined; however, based on historical evidence, it most likely supports development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems. The intense secrecy surrounding the base has made it the frequent subject of conspiracy theories and a central component to unidentified flying object (UFO) folklore. Although the base has never been declared a secret base, all research and occurrings in Area 51 are Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). In July 2013, following a FOIA request filed in 2005, the Central Intelligence Agency publicly acknowledged the existence of the base for the first time by declassifying documents detailing the history and purpose of Area 51.

Its secretive nature and undoubted connection to classified aircraft research, together with reports of unusual phenomena, have led Area 51 to become a focus of modern UFO and conspiracy theories. Some of the activities mentioned in such theories at Area 51 include:

Shortly after a massive tsunami struck the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on 11 March, an unmanned monitoring station on the outskirts of Takasaki, Japan, logged a rise in radiation levels. Within 72 hours, scientists had analysed samples taken from the air and transmitted their analysis to Vienna, Austria — the headquarters of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), an international body set up to monitor nuclear weapons tests.
It was just the start of a flood of data collected about the accident by the CTBTO's global network of 63 radiation monitoring stations. In the following weeks, the data were shared with governments around the world, but not with academics or the public.

The deep water Weapons Range lies roughly parallel to the east coast of Andros Island. It is the largest and most versatile of the AUTEC ranges, and it is capable of tracking up to 63 in-water objects simultaneously. The Mystery Buried Beneath Seattle- What Is It?

Transportation crews still don't know what exactly is blocking the path of "Bertha," the giant boring machine that's drilling the new Highway 999 tunnel under Seattle.

The machine was stopped on Friday after encountering an object 60 feet under South Main Street. On Tuesday, the Washington Department of Transportation and Seattle Tunnel Partners brought in cranes with drills and crews were preparing to drill down to get a closer look at the mysterious object.




"We don't know what it is," Chris Dixon with Seattle Tunnel Partners said during a news conference Wednesday. "Right now, we're developing plans to access that area underground to see exactly what it is that's limiting the progress of the (tunnel boring machine). And it's going to a while to implement these plans and see what exactly the situation is."

WSDOT officials said it could be something stuck in the tunnel boring machine behind the cutting head or something in front of it. WSDOT wants to send men into the tunnel to see Bertha and get eyes on the object.

The area is not pressurized, so they have to set up hyperbaric chambers using special divers. Crews might drill down to the tunnel from above to help stabilize the soil so workers can get down there.

The waterfront is filled with sandy silt, parts of Seattle that were scraped away a century ago and dumped there.

And it's anybody's guess what the mysterious object is.

"There's thousands of guesses what's going on, but until we get down there and see what the actual situation is, it's just speculation and guesses," said Dixon.

WSDOT said it could take a week to get set up and get workers in front of Bertha's blades. They also don't know how much the delay will cost.

GIGANTIC MYSTERIOUS OBJECT IN SEATTLE TUNNEL,.. COULD BE SEALED OFF BUBONIC PLAGUE OR HUGE UFO

SEATTLE - The Transportation Department and contractors building a highway tunnel under downtown Seattle are trying to identify the mystery object that has blocked their tunnel boring machine - but probably won't know for sure until Friday.

The machine called Bertha ran into something last week and was shut down Saturday about 1,000 feet from the start. The $80 million machine is designed to break up boulders, so there's speculation about what it hit.





Engineers are considering drilling down 60 feet to the object as one of the ways to break up or remove the obstruction. A large crane equipped with a drill bit was brought to the site Wednesday morning.

Experts estimate it will take until Friday to identify the obstruction.

The nearly two-mile tunnel is supposed to be completed by the end of 2015, creating a four-lane replacement for the Alaskan Way Viaduct on Highway 99.

But already it has experienced at least three delays - one caused by union picketing over work assignments, another by a sinkhole near Jackson Street and now the mystery object.

WSDOT says the latest trouble started Friday when Bertha's five-story tall cutter head felt some resistance, then stopped. WSDOT says engineers with Seattle Tunnel Partners, the company in charge of building the viaduct replacement tunnel, have been consulting with other experts to identify the obstruction - whether it's natural or manmade.

They say Bertha wasn't damaged in any way. They're keeping her idle until they decide whether crews need to dig the obstruction out from above or if Bertha can charge through it.

Bertha has dug 1,000 feet of tunnel since July. She's sitting 60-feet underground between South Jackson Street and South Main Street among a mix of native dirt and fill tossed into place from as early as the 1800s.

She has just 450 more feet to travel before leaving that fill behind. It will also mark the end of phase one in the $4 billion tunnel project that will stretch 1.7 miles from adjacent to Safeco Field to Battery Street.

WSDOT doesn't know how long Bertha will remain stuck, but they say it's too early to say whether the delay will affect the project's bottom line or it's scheduled opening.

The drill head is made from armoured steel and the cutter heads (tips) are tungsten carbide (hardest man made material next a laboratory diamond). They will bore right through the absolute hardest of rock. It will even cut steel effortlessly.

The balance of M.A.D. is more precarious than it was during the Cuban missile crisis, with preemptive nuclear war doctrine on the table, doomsday seed vaults and D.U.M.B.'s, NATO encroachment in post soviet satellite states, and antimissile shield elements chipping away at Russian and Sino- nuclear deterrence. Villela, a Brazilian scientist, who saw a UFO smash through an estimated 40 feet of ice at the South Pole and soar into the sky at amazing speed.

Of course many of these objects have been tracked over Puerto Rico since that time. On a training maneuver, a sonar operator detected a sub aqueous object traveling at over 150 knots! The technicians tracked this object for four days and it maneuvered down to the incredible depth of 27,000 feet. Submarines of 1963 could not dive further than a fraction over a mile into the ocean deeps. What kind of submersible could withstand the tremendous ocean pressures? And how could it overcome the tremendous resistance of water moving at such incredible speeds?
