Police Department Turns to Citizens for Ammunition Due to Shortage!
5/16/13 - As the "Great Ammunition Shortage" continues, police departments across the country are struggling to supply their arsenals. One police chief turned to the community for help, and citizens stepped up. In Proctor, Minnesota, police chief Walter Wobig says that his suppliers have told him he'll have to wait "months" for the 1,000 rounds he's requested. When Wobig turned to the residents of Proctor by putting out a call for help meeting his department's ammo needs, citizens contacted his office, eager to help.
"The citizens were like, 'If you need something, we got plenty here,'" said Wobig.
One resident and a Proctor police officer loaned 1,500 rounds from their personal stockpile to the department.
The Chief says others offered to help too. "I had several other calls from other citizens that said, 'Hey, if you need more ammunition we have plenty,'" said Wobig,
The Chief says that when his ammunition order is filled, he will be repaying the citizens for their contributions.

The credit crunch
The global financial crisis (GFC) or global economic crisis is commonly believed to have begun in July 2007 with the credit crunch, when a loss of confidence by US investors in the value of sub-prime mortgages caused a liquidity crisis. This, in turn, resulted in the US Federal Bank injecting a large amount of capital into financial markets. By September 2008, the crisis had worsened as stock markets around the globe crashed and became highly volatile. Consumer confidence hit rock bottom as everyone tightened their belts in fear of what could lie ahead.

The housing market in the United States suffered greatly as many home owners who had taken out sub-prime loans found they were unable to meet their mortgage repayments. As the value of homes plummeted, the borrowers found themselves with negative equity. The banks had a liquidity crisis on their hands, and giving and obtaining loans became increasingly difficult as the fallout from the sub-prime lending bubble burst. While such tactics didn't seem completely foreign to Robinson coming from the military, "what I have found when people come to me is that they just don't know why they're being targeted,"-- they are average, law-abiding citizens not causing any problems. Though he hasn't communicated directly with the perpetrators, what he determined from their technologies and methodologies is that "this is a worldwide mind control, population control agenda that is happening." According to Justice Dept. figures from 2009, some 500,000 people have reported being the victim of some type of group stalking, he cited.

President Barack Obama said Wednesday that he was "angry" at IRS officials who inappropriately targeted conservative groups for scrutiny, announcing that his administration had sought and accepted Steven Miller resignation as interim commissioner of the IRS.
"I've reviewed the Treasury Department watchdog's report, and the misconduct that it uncovered was inexcusable," Obama said in a statement at the White House. "It's inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I'm angry about it."
Saying he won't tolerate this sort of behavior from an agency, especially the IRS, President Obama announces the resignation of the acting IRS commissioner, and the implementation of new measures to prevent such activity again.
The president said that he expected the IRS to act with even higher levels of integrity than other government agencies and, to that end, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew had sought and accepted Miller's resignation -- something which many Republicans had demanded.
Obama also pledged to work with Congress in its emerging investigation into the IRS controversy, pledging his administration would work "hand-in-hand with Congress" to further its oversight. But the president also cautioned lawmakers to conduct its probe "in a way that doesn't smack of politics or partisan agendas."

Climbing the Pointless, Ruthless, Financial Ant Heap
‘Humanity is weary, worn out from its struggle to achieve the next thing, and the next’.
There is an ant heap, but of people. This ant pile of people is all in a mad climb towards a higher place on the pile, because the further down the bottom you are the less you have. The ants climbing ahead of us keep telling us that it’s great to be climbing the pile and if we get to the top it’s the best achievement possible. So we keep climbing, and others are helping us up a bit as we go, and as we keep climbing we notice others that have fallen back, and look disillusioned and weary, but they get up and start climbing again.
The further up the pile we go we notice also that the pace and scramble seems to be getting faster and the others don’t seem to be smiling much anymore, but we keep going, climbing as fast as we can towards the success of the higher echelons of the pile.
We see some actually crash to the ground and need help psychologically, and physically from their fall from the pile, they looked empty and washed out. But we try not to notice.
As we push on towards the higher stages of the pile we notice its getting narrower towards the top, and there was more of an urgency, almost a frenzy, and some were grouping together holding others back as they pushed forwards, and there were even less signs of smiling, but worse still we started noticing that the others are being more aggressive as they get closer to the top, and seem less and less concerned about the others below them like they don’t care who falls or gets hurt by falling and slipping.
As we get closer to the top we start seeing others actually trampling on those near them and stepping on anyone else as long as they keep moving upwards, almost using other bodies as stepping stones, I saw one stamp on another’s hands sending them falling to the ground, there seems to be a callous, coldness about the ones up here and they seem to actually enjoy it when someone close by falls off, as they seem to get more of a foothold themselves. They seemed almost aloof as though they didn’t want to even touch those below them, almost like they were unclean, just stepping stones for their own progress upwards.
At last we saw the top, there were a group of others but they looked different, there was a deadness in their eyes, a look of ruthlessness as though they didn’t care about anyone except themselves, and worse still they didn’t care how many fell to their death off the pile under them as long as they were okay. In fact we were shocked to realize that they were using everyone else on and in the pile to keep their position at the top, they were robbing everyone else of their energy, actually using others as just things for them to use and nothing more. The climbers below them couldn’t get past them or near them.
Just as we could see the top of the heap where the ruthless ones were, I asked someone coming back down exhausted ‘what’s at the top’? Their answer shocked me they said ‘nothing, there’s nothing there it’s just the top of a pile with them on it’.
A strange feeling engulfed me, I felt sorry for all the climbers and fallers, but I also felt sorry for the ones at the top because there was nothing there. They had arrived at the top only to find that the happiness and peace they thought they would find by arriving there still evaded them, and though they smiled and reveled in their power of controlling the top, their eyes looked empty and sad. Our Education System is Worthless

The problem is that education has become a business, and businesses are concerned with profit.The schools are corporations they arent there to teach you useful information in life they are there to corporate approved data, whether its a lie or not..... welcome to bank rule its all fraud . College is a legal scam. You spend 6 years in college putting yourself in debt so you can work off that debt in a corporate job that doesn't give a crap about you for your entire life. You don't need college when you have the internet, books that cost half the price on Amazon, and the discipline to be self taught. Unless you're going to work in health care, it's not really worth it.Most employers require or provide some kind of training for their employees anyway. May as well move it up to the employer level since every corporate has their own specific needs. Judge a candidate based on their personality rather than their education since you'll need to teach them how to perform their job anyway. Send employees to private certification courses so that there can be more competition in the education industry.

May 14, 2013 - Attorney General Eric Holder says the Justice Department decided to subpoena phone records of AP citing one of the "most serious leaks" he's ever encountered. Holder says he removed himself from the decision to subpoena the records.
5/14/13 - Reacting to Attorney General Eric Holder's Tuesday afternoon press briefing on the Department of Justice's secret seizing of Associated Press phone records, Fox senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano tore into the agency for its "direct assault" on the Constitution that he says circumvented the proper channels laid out by the law. On Monday afternoon it was revealed that the DOJ had obtained the private phone records of Associated Press reporters and editors. In response, Holder explained today that the seizure was part of an investigation into one of the worst leaks he has ever seen in his legal career, one he believes could have compromised national security.
Napolitano was not convinced, calling Justice's actions a "profound and direct assault on the First Amendment." He explained to Fox host Megyn Kelly that the feds have three different methods to legally seize documents from an outlet like the Associated Press: 1. "Grand jury subpoena, in which case the U.S. attorney has to tell the person, 'We are going for your records.'" 2. "Go to a judge and present evidence of probable cause of crime to get a search warrant." 3. "Obtain a national security letter, in which a federal agent writes a search warrant authorizing another federal agent to get the documents under the PATRIOT Act."
The third option, Napolitano added, "is unconstitutional, but it is the law." But as the judge sees it, the only crime that's been identified by Holder thus far was the "crime of leaking," which does not constitute a national security threat.
And so without following any of the three steps to legally obtaining documents under federal law, Napolitano told Kelly, the seizure "was absolutely done improperly and it violated most the core protected rights under the Constitution: freedom of speech."

The U.S. Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.
The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.
In all, the government seized those records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown but more than 100 journalists work in the offices whose phone records were targeted on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.
In a letter of protest sent to Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday, AP President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Pruitt said the government sought and obtained information far beyond anything that could be justified by any specific investigation. He demanded the return of the phone records and destruction of all copies.
"There can be no possible justification for such an overbroad collection of the telephone communications of The Associated Press and its reporters. These records potentially reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the newsgathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period, provide a road map to AP's newsgathering operations, and disclose information about AP's activities and operations that the government has no conceivable right to know," Pruitt said.
Records could be part of probe into leak on 2011 CIA operation
The government would not say why it sought the records. U.S. officials have previously said in public testimony that the U.S. attorney in Washington is conducting a criminal investigation into who may have leaked information contained in a May 7, 2012, AP story about a foiled terror plot. The story disclosed details of a CIA operation in Yemen that stopped an al-Qaeda plot in the spring of 2012 to detonate a bomb on an airplane bound for the United States.
In testimony in February, CIA Director John Brennan noted that the FBI had questioned him about whether he was AP's source, which he denied. He called the release of the information to the media about the terror plot an "unauthorized and dangerous disclosure of classified information."
Prosecutors have sought phone records from reporters before, but the seizure of records from such a wide array of AP offices, including general AP switchboards numbers and an office-wide shared fax line, is unusual and largely unprecedented.
In the letter notifying the AP received Friday, the Justice Department offered no explanation for the seizure, according to Pruitt's letter and attorneys for the AP. The records were presumably obtained from phone companies earlier this year although the government letter did not explain that. None of the information provided by the government to the AP suggested the actual phone conversations were monitored.
Among those whose phone numbers were obtained were five reporters and an editor who were involved in the May 7, 2012 story.
The Obama administration has aggressively investigated disclosures of classified information to the media and has brought six cases against people suspected of leaking classified information, more than under all previous presidents combined.
Justice Department published rules require that subpoenas of records from news organizations must be personally approved by the attorney general but it was not known if that happened in this case. The letter notifying AP that its phone records had been obtained though subpoenas was sent Friday by Ronald Machen, the U.S. attorney in Washington.
Spokesmen in Machen's office and at the Justice Department had no immediate comment on Monday.
The Justice Department lays out strict rules for efforts to get phone records from news organizations. A subpoena can only be considered after "all reasonable attempts" have been made to get the same information from other sources, the rules say. It was unclear what other steps, in total, the Justice Department has taken to get information in the case.
A subpoena to the media must be "as narrowly drawn as possible" and "should be directed at relevant information regarding a limited subject matter and should cover a reasonably limited time period," according to the rules.

U.S. officials have previously said in public testimony that the U.S. attorney in Washington is conducting a criminal investigation into who may have leaked information contained in a May 7, 2012, AP story about a foiled terror plot. The story disclosed details of a CIA operation in Yemen that stopped an al-Qaeda plot in the spring of 2012 to detonate a bomb on an airplane bound for the United States.
In testimony in February, CIA Director John Brennan noted that the FBI had questioned him about whether he was AP's source, which he denied. He called the release of the information to the media about the terror plot an "unauthorized and dangerous disclosure of classified information."
Prosecutors have sought phone records from reporters before, but the seizure of records from such a wide array of AP offices, including general AP switchboards numbers and an office-wide shared fax line, is unusual and largely unprecedented.
In the letter notifying the AP received Friday, the Justice Department offered no explanation for the seizure, according to Pruitt's letter and attorneys for the AP. The records were presumably obtained from phone companies earlier this year although the government letter did not explain that. None of the information provided by the government to the AP suggested the actual phone conversations were monitored.
Among those whose phone numbers were obtained were five reporters and an editor who were involved in the May 7, 2012 story.
The Obama administration has aggressively investigated disclosures of classified information to the media and has brought six cases against people suspected of leaking classified information, more than under all previous presidents combined.
Justice Department published rules require that subpoenas of records from news organizations must be personally approved by the attorney general but it was not known if that happened in this case. The letter notifying AP that its phone records had been obtained though subpoenas was sent Friday by Ronald Machen, the U.S. attorney in Washington.
Spokesmen in Machen's office and at the Justice Department had no immediate comment on Monday.
The Justice Department lays out strict rules for efforts to get phone records from news organizations. A subpoena can only be considered after "all reasonable attempts" have been made to get the same information from other sources, the rules say. It was unclear what other steps, in total, the Justice Department has taken to get information in the case.
A subpoena to the media must be "as narrowly drawn as possible" and "should be directed at relevant information regarding a limited subject matter and should cover a reasonably limited time period," according to the rules.

5/13/13 - During a press conference in the White House on Monday, President Barack Obama was asked about reports that the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative groups for added scrutiny over the course of the last two years. The president condemned the actions of members of the IRS who enforced federal tax laws in a partisan fashion. "I've got no patience with it," Obama said. "I will not tolerate it."
"I first learned about this from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this," Obama began. "This is pretty straightforward. If, in fact, IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous."
"And they have to be held fully accountable, because the IRS as an independent agency requires absolute integrity and people have to have confidence that they're applying it in a nonpartisan way -- applying the laws in a nonpartisan way," Obama continued.
"You should feel that way regardless of party -- I don't care whether you're a Democrat, independent, or Republican," the president added. He said that the perception that the IRS is biased is something people should be "properly concerned about."
"I can tell you that if you've got the IRS operating in anything less than a neutral and nonpartisan way, then that is outrageous, it is contrary to our traditions, and people have to be held accountable and it's got to be fixed," Obama concluded.
