Biography

Since 1976, Marrs has taught a course on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy at the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1989, his book, Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy, was published and reached the New York Times Paperback Non-Fiction Best Seller list in mid-February 1992. It became a basis for the Oliver Stone film JFK. Marrs served as a chief consultant for both the film's screenplay and production,Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy.

Beginning in 1992, Marrs spent three years researching and completing a non-fiction book on a top-secret government program called the Stargate Project involving the psychic phenomenon known as remote viewing, only to have the program canceled as it was going to press in the summer of 1995. Within two months, the story of military-developed remote viewing broke nationally in the Washington Post after the CIA revealed the program.

In May 1997, Marrs' investigation of UFOs, Alien Agenda, was published by HarperCollins Publishers. Publishers Weekly described Alien Agenda as "the most entertaining and complete overview of flying saucers and their crew in years." The paperback edition was released in mid-1998. It has been translated into several foreign languages and become the top-selling UFO book in the world.

LOUIS FARRAKHAN - Race War Is about To Explode in U.S. Get Prepared

 The Rev. Louis Farrakhan gave a racially charged sermon on Saturday, arguing that a “law for retaliation” exists in Islam that justifies violence in the wake of grand jury decisions in the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases.

Speaking at Morgan State University, a black college in Baltimore, Mr. Farrakhan argued that peaceful protests are only in the interest of “white folks,”

“Watch now, because once it starts, it’s on. You may not want to fight, but you better get ready. Teach your baby how to throw the bottle if they can,” he said, apparently referencing a Molotov cocktail. “We going to die anyway. Let’s die for something.”

The Nation of Islam leader held up what appeared to be the organization’s version of the Koran and purported that violence is justified by the “law of retaliation” in the religious text.

“In this book, there’s a law for retaliation,” he said.

“As long as they [whites] kill us [blacks] and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep, they gonna keep killing us,” he said, to a roar of applause. “But when we die and they die, then soon we’re going to sit at a table and talk about it! We’re tired! We want some of this earth or we’ll tear this [expletive] country up!” Mr. Farrakhan criticized President Obama and Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. for being out of touch with young blacks by encouraging peace. He argued that young blacks, or “God’s children,” aren’t willing to go down without a fight.

WW3 RED ALERT! U.S. House of Representatives PASSES RESUOLUTION against RUSSIA

 The US House of Representatives has overwhelmingly approved a document which strongly condemns Moscow's actions against its neighbors, calling them a policy of aggression.

Passed with 411-10 votes, the resolution slams Russia’s “continuing political, economic, and military aggression” against Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova and the “continuing violation of their sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.”

"The US, Europe and our allies must aggressively keep the pressure on Mr. Putin to encourage him to change his behavior," Rep. Adam Kinzinger, the resolution's sponsor, said.

The resolution calls for Russia to stop supporting local militias in eastern Ukraine and for the cancellation of Crimea’s decision to join Russia. In addition, it calls on Moscow to withdraw its troops which the US claims are in Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

The House calls on President Barack Obama to provide Ukraine with defense equipment and training.

"Ukraine is clearly in need of urgent military assistance," Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen said as quoted by The Hill.

The resolution also urges NATO members and US allies to suspend military cooperation with Russia. Addressing Obama, the House urged to review the readiness of the US and NATO armed forces under the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe Treaty (CFE).

The lawmakers agreed that the President and the Department of State should also find a way to “distribute news and information” in Russian to countries with Russian-speaking populations.

The lawmakers specified that the resolution targets Putin and his policy, but not all Russian people.

The Swiss gold initiative has come and gone. It can be summarized as much ado about nothing. Even if it had passed, the initiative would have had no real impact on the central bank’s ability to print money or conduct monetary policy.

The central bank is currently defending a 1.2 Swiss-francs-to-the-euro floor. By pegging its currency, the Swiss central bank has basically opted to follow its neighbor’s excessively easy monetary policy. To keep the peg, the Swiss central bank has been purchasing euros by printing Swiss francs. The central bank then returns the euros to the Euro money supply by purchasing European government bonds. It could have just as easily used those euros to buy dollars for gold. In either case, the euros or dollars are returned to the market, and therefore the Swiss action does not influence the respective Euro or US money supplies. We must remember that exchange rates are determined by differences in monetary growth rates and anticipation of what those differences will be in the future.

The Swiss government and Swiss central bank opposed the initiative. This should not be surprising. It is standard government policy to use fear tactics to justify continued government theft. The fiat money system hates gold. Banksters love the faith- and fraud-based ability of paper and never tire of dissing currencies based on physical commodities such as gold or silver.

Adopting a gold standard will shut down the printing presses and not allow the financial elite to manipulate the money supply and perpetuate the fractional reserve scam which is a monumental form of embezzlement and thievery.

It turns out the ISIS scam driving the war machine of the state may also serve the propaganda purposes of the financial elite and the central bankers. Back in March, at a time when the IMF reported that Ukraine’s official gold holdings as of the end of February, so just as the State Department-facilitated coup against former president Victor Yanukovich was concluding, amounted to 42.3 tonnes or 8% of reserves. Between those with reserves in and pegs to the US dollar, many countries have given their allegiance, and now have a vested interest in the health of the currency. Due to this common interest, a sort of unofficial, involuntary alliance has been formed between them all.

The Cold War 2.0 is going hot, and while it may someday be fought with planes, tanks, guns and bombs, the first front is being fought with oil and shale gas.

The U.S. and European sanctions against Russia will become more severe and crippling in the face of drastically falling oil prices – prices which are falling drastically because of the unprecedented boom of shale gas fracking both domestically in the U.S. and abroad in Ukraine and other locales.

Just a week after a grand jury in Missouri cleared police officer Darren Wilson for the killing of Michael Brown, a New York grand jury cleared New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo for the killing of Eric Garner, who died after being placed in a chokehold. Both officers were white. Both victims were African American. Thousands flooded the streets in New York City last night after the grand jury decision was announced. Democracy Now! was there and interviewed several people about why they were taking part in the protests. We speak with Vince Warren, executive director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, about how the grand jury system can be used to shield police officers from prosecution. We also hear from retired NYPD detective Carlton Berkley about department restrictions on the use of chokeholds.

Blackout America : Major Power Outage hits downtown Detroit as the Grid goes down (Dec 02, 2014)

Power is slowly returning to Detroit, Michigan, after a massive power outage on Tuesday morning left much of the Motor City in the dark. As of 2:15 p.m., about 33 percent of the power outages had been restored, according to the Detroit Free Press, while the majority of city buildings should have electricity back by the evening. In a statement, the city said the power grid was shut down following a "major cable failure."

Police say when the officer stopped a vehicle around 2:45 a.m. PT Wednesday at Bachelor Drive and North River Drive, there was an exchange of gunfire and the officer was hit. The officer was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and is undergoing surgery.
