Prison commanders, analysts, and soldiers all agree that the US' Camp Bucca, a detention center in Iraq, was where ISIS was truly born. The prison served as a great place for extremists to convert non-radicals, and non-radicals to teach extremists skills, which resulted in the birth of the Islamic State. An American political commentator says the United States and its allies in the Middle East created the ISIL terrorist group at the beginning of the Syria war. “They spent quite a bit of money creating ISIS (ISIL) and its counterparts at the beginning of the Syria war,” Charles Glass, author of Tribes with Flags, told Press TV on Saturday. “ISIS (ISIL) wouldn’t be there, if it hadn’t been for Western and Turkish, and Saudi, and Qatari support from the beginning,” he added. “So all they’re now doing is spending money to counteract the effect of the money that they spent at the beginning of the war,” he continued. The author made the remarks after House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon called on President Barack Obama on Friday to reconsider his strategy against ISIL. McKeon said that Obama should clearly explain how the funding supports a new direction. The Obama administration has so far requested $5 billion for a counterterrorism partnership fund and $500 million for the training and equipping of the so-called “moderate” Syrian militants. “We don’t know how that money is going to spend,” Glass said. “There are a lot of unanswered questions and whoever says that the strategy isn’t clear is speaking the truth.” Since early August, the US military has been conducting airstrikes against ISIL positions in Iraq. Some Western states have also participated in some of the air raids in Iraq. The US and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out airstrikes against ISIL inside Syria since late September without any authorization from Damascus or a UN mandate.

Gorbachev: World on brink of new Cold War
The former Soviet Union leader says West is pushing the world to the verge of a new Cold War. Mikhail Gorbachev said tensions between world's major powers have brought about instability on a global scale. Gorbachev also accused the West, particularly the US, of giving in to triumphalism after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 19-91. The former Soviet president added that the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, the Balkans, and most recently in Ukraine prove the West's failure in its claim to resolve global issues. Gorbachev also called on the Western countries to lift sanctions on Russia and restore trust with Moscow through dialog. Webster Tarpley - November 8, 2014 - World Crisis Radio
Historian and President of Washington Grove Institute, a think tank in Washington D.C, Webster Tarpley, discussed the conspiratorial mindset, and shared his intriguing analysis of current geopolitical and historical situations. More and more people are turning toward conspiracies because the "official story" behind such events as 9-11 and the JFK assassination are unbelievable or fantastic, he said. Tarpley doesn't consider himself a conspiracy theorist, but a seeker of truth, though he admitted that the uncovering of facts in many instances often does point to conspiracies. We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US, intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.
Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."
Tarpley also commented on current situations in France, China, and Russia, as well as Syria and Libya, two countries that he visited during recent turmoils. America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

Samsung’s new global privacy policy for its line of Smart TVs states that a user’s personal conversations will be recorded by the device’s microphone and transmitted to third parties. A 46-page privacy policy which is now included in all newly purchased Samsung Smart TVs states that voice recognition technology “may capture voice commands and associated texts” in order to “improve the features” of the system.
The policy, a summary of which is also posted online, ominously advises users to, “Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party through your use of Voice Recognition.”
Price also draws attention to comments made in 2012 by former CIA director David Petraeus, who hailed the “Internet of things” as a transformational boon for “clandestine tradecraft”. In other words, it will soon be easier than ever before to keep tabs on the population since everything they use will be connected to the web, with total disregard for privacy considerations. Obama Promised a "World Without Nuclear Weapons," But May Now Spend $1 Trillion on Upgrades
AMY GOODMAN: Well, that was April 2009. Later that year, President Obama’s disarmament efforts were cited when he won the Nobel Peace Prize. Since then, the United States has failed to meet its nuclear promises. In fact, a recent New York Times investigation found the United States is on pace to spend as much as $1 trillion over the next three decades to rebuild its nuclear arsenal and facilities. As of 2013, the Federation of American Scientists estimates Russia has about—a stockpile of about 8,000 nuclear warheads, while the U.S. has about 7,300. Meanwhile, this week, more than 150 countries at the United Nations signed a Joint Statement on the Humanitarian Consequences of Nuclear Weapons—nearly 80 percent of the body’s member states. It cited the "catastrophic effects" of a nuclear weapon detonation, whether by accident or design, and said, quote, "The only way to guarantee that nuclear weapons will never be used again is through their total elimination." The statement also called on nuclear powers to attend the third Conference on the Humanitarian Impact of Nuclear Weapons scheduled this December here in Vienna, Austria. The United States has yet to attend one of the meetings.

Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."

America can get out of its economic woes by seizing control of the Federal Reserve, and stop using it to give 0% loans to bankers and financial interests, and instead give these loans with a hundred year maturity to the states, who could then start massive infrastructure rebuilding projects, he argued.

A patient went on a rampage at a Minnesota hospital with a metal pipe, sending nurses running for their lives. At least two were injured.
MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (KABC) --
A Minnesota hospital patient goes berserk and begins attacking nurses with a large metal pipe he obtained by disassembling his hospital bed.
The entire incident - caught on camera - points out the danger that hospital employees can face.
The 68-year-old man surprised nurses at around 2 a.m., running through the hospital with the bar. He injured four people, including one nurse who suffered a collapsed lung.
Police confronted the man with a Taser. He died later that night.
"By every stretch of the imagination, this was a highly violent incident," a police spokesman said.
Violence in hospitals is not entirely unusual. About 60 percent of all non-fatal assaults and violent acts in the workplace occurred in the health care industry, according to a 2010 study by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Thirty-one states have laws in place aimed at protecting nurses.
Fellow patient Adam Linn witnessed the attack.
"There should have been more help for these nurses. They're there to help people. Who was there to help them when it happened," Linn said.
