Our Armies exist for one reason and that is to protect and promote the business interests of American corporations. If our soldiers can volunteer their lives for this purpose then it would seem to me to be only right that the corporations whose interests are being protected should volunteer their profits as well. Someone please explain to me, why is it that a soldiers life is expendable but corporate profits are not. It just seems to me that it would be the height of patriotism and duty that GE and Westinghouse and Dupont and all the others members of the military industrial complex would stand firmly behind the lives of the soldiers and volunteer to make a much smaller sacrifice, their profit. Anything less, to me, is unconscionable, and these corporate bloodsuckers should be taken out and hanged for dereliction of their American duty and utter failure to value and honor the sacrifice of our volunteer forces.

According to Forbes magazine, at least 5,000 Americans contacted healthcare providers fearful they had contracted Ebola after the media reported that someone with Ebola had entered the United States. All 5,000 cases turned out to be false alarms. In fact, despite all the hype about Ebola generated by the media and government officials, as of this writing there has only been one preliminarily identified case of someone contracting Ebola within the United States.
Ebola is a dangerous disease, but it is very difficult to contract. Ebola spreads via direct contact with the virus. This usually occurs though contact with bodily fluids. While the Ebola virus may remain on dry surfaces for several hours, it can be destroyed by common disinfectants. So common-sense precautions should be able to prevent Ebola from spreading.
It is no coincidence that many of those countries suffering from mass Ebola outbreaks have also suffered from the plagues of dictatorship and war. The devastation wrought by years of war has made it impossible for these countries to develop modern healthcare infrastructure. For example, the 14-year civil war in Liberia left that country with almost no trained doctors. Those who could leave the war-torn country were quick to depart. Sadly, American foreign aid props up dictators and encourages militarism in these countries.
President Obama’s response to the Ebola crisis has been to send 3,000 troops to West African countries to help with treatment and containment. Obama did not bother to seek congressional authorization for this overseas military deployment. Nor did he bother to tell the American people how long the mission would last, how much it would cost, or what section of the Constitution authorizes him to send US troops on “humanitarian” missions.
The people of Liberia and other countries would be better off if the US government left them alone. Leave it to private citizens to invest in African business and trade with the African people. Private investment and trade would help these countries develop thriving free-market economies capable of sustaining a modern healthcare infrastructure.
Legitimate concerns about protecting airline passengers from those with Ebola or other infectious diseases can best be addressed by returning responsibility for passenger safety to the airlines. After all, private airlines have a greater incentive than does government to protect their passengers from contagious diseases. They can do so while providing a safe means of travel for those seeking medical treatment in the United States. This would remove the incentive to lie about exposure to the virus among those seeking to come here for treatment.
Ebola patients in the US have received permission from the Food and Drug Administration to use “unapproved” drugs. This is a positive development. But why should those suffering from potentially lethal diseases have to seek special permission from federal bureaucrats to use treatments their physicians think might help? And does anyone doubt that the FDA’s cumbersome approval process has slowed down the development of treatments for Ebola?
Firestone Tire and Rubber Company has successfully contained the spread of Ebola among 80,000 people living in Harbel, the Liberian town housing employees of Firestone's Liberian plant and their families. In March, after the wife of a Firestone employee developed Ebola symptoms, Firestone constructed its own treatment center and implemented a program of quarantine and treatment. Firestone has successfully kept the Ebola virus from spreading among its employees. As of this writing, there are only three Ebola patients at Firestone's treatment facility.
Firestone's success in containing Ebola shows that, far from justifying new state action, the Ebola crises demonstrates that individuals acting in the free market can do a better job of containing Ebola than can governments. The Ebola crisis is also another example of how US foreign aid harms the very people we are claiming to help. Limiting government at home and abroad is the best way to protect health and freedom.

Federal auditors said on Thursday that most of the C-27 transport aircraft given to the Afghan military as part of a failed $486 million program were locally scrapped for just $32,000.
“Unfortunately, it’s completely unsurprising,” Welch said. “It’s a perfect scam.”
“It’s just the tip of the iceberg. This brings us back to hundred-dollar paper clips in the 80s and the two trillion dollars that somehow went missing, unaccounted for in the Pentagon budget, announced by Rumsfeld shortly before the September 11, attacks,” he continued.

Christopher Columbus: Bankrupting an Empire
Media outlets generally don't shy away from exposing the truth about this American hero and most people who educate themselves outside the propaganda vacuum of public schools know that in the 21st century the man would be put on trial for crimes against humanity - well, unless he managed to reach the summit of political power.
There is, however, one aspect of Columbus' sins that gets ignored.
When he set sail for what turned out to be the American continent, he carried with him the commandment of King Ferdinand of Spain: "Get gold, humanely if possible, but at all hazards - get gold!"
In his lust for gold, Columbus robbed and forced the local population of the newly discovered land to work in his gold mines, slaughtered the opposition and became the progenitor of the transatlantic slave trade - girls as young as 9 years old were sold into sexual slavery.
The acts of genocide committed by Columbus and his successors filled up the coffers of the Spanish Crown with stolen gold, making the ruling class of the country fabulously wealthy.

The Spanish economic catastrophe brought about by the slaughterhouse import of American gold lasted for 400 years.
Historians termed this period of runaway inflation "the Price Revolution." As one scholar pointed out: "The influx of precious metals into Europe precipitated one of the greatest price revolutions occurring on a specie basis in modern times, if not in all history." He wrote this in 1929 so he didn't get to see what would become of the post-World-War-II world economy.

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley sector caught a man from an eastern African nation trying to cross illegally into the U.S. Wednesday night, an incident they say highlights the risk posed by the unsecured border particularly in the midst of an Ebola epidemic. Though the man's origin country, Etritrea, has experienced no reported cases of Ebola, multiple border agents told TheBlaze that Wednesday’s apprehension is not the first time they have caught illegal immigrants from Africa, nor what they called “special interest aliens,” those coming from countries with known terrorist ties or experiencing outbreaks of infectious diseases.

He says a very credible informer told him that that the most dangerous crime element in Mexico City is Russian Mafia. That means KGB. Few people know this, but the Soviets entered a secret pact with Mexico very early in the last century, almost certainly with the eventual aim of utilizing Mexico's strategic position in offenses against the U.S. There is little doubt in my mind that the border crisis is an endgame strategy designed to bring in the people and weapons that will kill us. And Taylor asserts that Obama is in on the plan. The only way to defeat this border swamping strategy is for state governments to initiate independent action with assistance from American volunteers. The federal government is betraying our country and its representatives are betraying their oath to "support and defend" our Constitution and country "from all enemies foreign and domestic." The United States is using the ISIL terrorist group as a “proxy force” and “foot soldiers” to remove the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad, an author and radio host in Chicago says.
“What most people do not know, especially Americans, is that ISIL fighters are US allies, they were created by America, they’re US foot soldiers, US proxy forces,” Stephen Lendman told Press TV on Saturday.
“They’re being used by America in its war to replace the Assad government with a pro-Western stooge government, this is what the ‘dirty game’ is all about,” Lendman said.
The “dirty game” is to arouse more anger toward ISIL terrorists through beheadings and other brutal tactics in order to enlist more countries in President Barack Obama’s coalition against the Syrian government, he added.
ISIL militants have been trained by CIA operatives out of secret bases in Jordan and Turkey to destabilize Syria, Lendman noted.
Some analysts have long maintained that the United States and its allies have seized on the ISIL threat to target the democratically elected government of Syria.
American officials admit that the US-led airstrikes are not stopping ISIL advances in Iraq and Syria, raising doubts on the efficacy of Obama’s long-contemplated strategy for confronting the terror organization.
There is a growing concern about whether the US-led air war in Syria against ISIL is working, with even the so-called moderate Syrian militants, closest to the US, turning against it.
Activists and residents in Syria say the airstrikes are harming ordinary Syrians more than the well-financed terrorists, according to the Washington Post.
Residents say the air campaign, launched since Sept. 22, has not weakened the ISIL group’s grip on power or had any significant impact on its capacity to capture territory and launch attacks.

Webster TarpleyHistorian and President of Washington Grove Institute, a think tank in Washington D.C, Webster Tarpley, discussed the conspiratorial mindset, and shared his intriguing analysis of current geopolitical and historical situations. More and more people are turning toward conspiracies because the "official story" behind such events as 9-11 and the JFK assassination are unbelievable or fantastic, he said. Tarpley doesn't consider himself a conspiracy theorist, but a seeker of truth, though he admitted that the uncovering of facts in many instances often does point to conspiracies. We live in an oligarchy run by financiers, and they often do conspire together for shared goals, he noted, adding that they compose a shadow government that secretly rules the US, intersecting with people at the State Dept., the CIA, and perhaps the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.
Tarpley spoke about his forthcoming book about Pearl Harbor and the assassination of FDR. We're told a lot of fakery about Roosevelt like he provoked Japan, and that he kept his Naval Admirals in the dark, but the opposite was true, he said. Further, a group of Wall St. Republicans that FDR put in control of the Pentagon wanted a defeat to weaken FDR in the postwar world, and Churchill knew the time and place of the Pearl Harbor attack but kept quiet in order to draw the US into the war, he continued. Roosevelt was poisoned by a female Russian painter in April 1945, Tarpley claimed, and Stalin reportedly told FDR's son "your father was poisoned/murdered by the Churchill gang."

U.S. citizens who refuse to undergo the new screenings for Ebola at five major American airports could find themselves held in quarantine for up to three weeks, officials told Yahoo News on Thursday. Non-citizens who refuse the screenings could be quarantined or turned away from U.S. soil by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The Obama Administration announced on Wednesday that it would soon require passengers from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone — the countries at the epicenter of the deadly outbreak in West Africa — to answer questions about their potential exposure to the illness and to have their temperature taken upon arrival.
Officials unveiled the new rules hours after the only patient thus far diagnosed with Ebola on U.S. soil, Thomas Eric Duncan, died of the illness. Neighbors said he helped a pregnant woman in Liberia get to a hospital, where she was turned away from a crowded Ebola treatment ward. Liberian government officials said they planned to prosecute him for lying on health forms by denying any contact with an Ebola patient.
