Clarence, NY (WKBW) - A question and answer session on New York's new gun law turned testy, as gun owners unleash a fury of anger on the new legislation. Frustration boiled over for people who feel as though they are law abiding citizens, being turned into criminals. For many, it was a chance to vent anger at Albany. One WNYer even said "You put a brown shirt on Mr. Cuomo and put him on television, he would look just like Hitler." Another chimed in, "Angry people get together, they form militias folks. This country, this WNY is prime for something like that!" Western New York gun owners say they SAFE Act and its ban on assault weapons makes no sense. One of the big concerns -- who is footing the bill for making changes to guns that are now considered assault weapons. State officials told the crowd the gun owners are the ones responsible. People in the crowd also had a lot of questions about the registration laws. One gun owner asked,"What is the penalty if you don't register it? 'Cause I guarantee there's a lot of people that aren't going to." At times, advocates felt answers were incomplete or political. State officials say there is a misconception as to which weapons are considered illegal. Michael Green, with the Division of Criminal Justice Services explained, "Any pump, lever or bolt action shotgun or rifle can't be an assault weapon by definition and does not need to be registered." State officials say the SAFE Act preserves second amendment rights, while preventing another Aurora, Sandy Hook or Webster. Officials explained they would be tracking ammunition sales ""So that folks in Aurora, Colorado don't come up with six thousand rounds of ammunition." However, some in the crowd say the problem goes much deeper than any weapon -- it comes down to a society desensitized by violence.Residents of Erie County, New York overflow the State's dictating / Q & A forum concerning the unconstitutional NY Safe Act arms bill. The passion and anger from the people is evident of Erie County resistance. After the first speaker spoke, the second one was introduced. A request from an audience member to recite the Pledge of Allegiance was ignored by the State. So the people took over and assertively recited it anyway. The State attempted to have private interviews with the media which alienated the crowd further, who then demanded transparency. Then the State wanted the questions from the audience to be private, which riled folks even more. Donald Trump Officially Suing Bill Maher for not Paying 5 Million on Bet

2/4/13 - The bet/feud between the two, you may recall, stemmed from Maher's appearance on Jay Leno's show, when he said he would give Trump $5 million to give to a charity of his choice if Trump proved he was not the "spawn" of an orangutan. This, of course, was a spoof pegged off Trump's $5 million offer to Obama. Well, Trump released his birth certificate (literally noting he is not the son of an orangutan), demanding Maher pay up — later threatening to sue. On Monday morning, he told Fox & Friends that he does plan to sue Maher, around noon today.

"He promised me $5 million for charity if I provided certain information," Trump said. "Well I provided the information. He didn't pay. So today I sue Bill Maher for $5 million for charity."

"I accepted the offer immediately, and he didn't come through with the $5 million," he added.

And while some may argue Maher was joking, Trump begged to differ.

"I don't think he was joking. He said it with venom," Trump said. "That was venom. That wasn't a joke. In fact he was nervous when he said it. It was a pathetic delivery."

CBS Atlanta reporter Jeff Chirico confronted a used car dealer accused of stealing tax refunds at his place of business in Gainesville. The man grabbed him by the collar and later punched him in the face. He was not hurt.

An investigative reporter for local Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL got more than he bargained for this week when he went into the field to find a business man who had been charged with stealing customers' tax refunds.

Reporter Jeff Chirico encountered the father of the man he was attempting to investigate, who was not very welcoming of the local news team. The elderly man grabbed Chirico by the collar and made a fist, saying "it only costs 35 bucks to bust this man in the mouth."

When Chirico tried to enter the man's property, he found himself getting punched in the face and falling to the ground. The man came after him again, warning, "Don't you dare attempted to go in my business. You better get your shit and get it gone."

Chirico, who was not seriously injured, said he would be calling the police "and you'll be arrested for assault" before the man threatened to punch him again.
