 James Polin "Jim" Gray (born February 14, 1945) is an American jurist and the 2012 Libertarian Party vice presidential nominee. He was the presiding judge of the Superior Court of Orange County, California. Gray was the 2004 Libertarian Party candidate for the United States Senate in California. He is the author of multiple books and a play, and is critical of current American drug laws.

Gray has been a member of the California Judicial Council, as well as the California Judicial Council's Advisory Committee on Juvenile Law, the Alcohol Advisory Board to the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the Advisory Board of the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, and the Orange County Law Library. He has also been a member of the Board of Councilors of the USC Law School. Gray also introduced Orange County to the Peer Court system, where juvenile defendants travel to a school outside their district to have their actual cases tried by other teenagers.[1] In 2012, Gray was nominated by Libertarian Party convention delegates as the running mate of former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson.

From 1972 through 1975, Gray practiced law with the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the U.S. Navy in Guam and California.[4]

After five years in private practice, he was named to the Santa Ana Municipal Court in 1983 by Governor George Deukmejian, who then appointed Gray to the Orange County Superior Court in 1989.[5] Gray retired as a judge in January 2009.[5] Much of his legal career has dealt with drug-related issues.[3]

Gray is an outspoken critic of drug laws and the War on Drugs,[12][13] particularly in the state of California.[14][15][16] He was a proponent of the Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010,[17] a statewide referendum measure that was defeated in the 2010 California state elections.

He is the author of Why Our Drug Laws Have Failed and What We Can Do About It – A Judicial Indictment of the War on Drugs (2001), and is one of the 62 people featured in the 2007 documentary American Drug War: The Last White Hope.

In early 2011 Gray was one of the four co-sponsors of an initiative called Regulate Marijuana Like Wine.[18][19] Had it passed, the initiative would have regulated cannabis consumption and production like wine in California. Followed by national media, the measure failed to collect the minimum number of signatures needed for qualification to be placed on the ballot in the 2012 statewide election, but garnered significant speculation about Gray's future in the Libertarian Party and in national politics.[19]

On April 27, 2012, the question "What would you think of Judge Gray running for Vice President?" was posted from Gray's Facebook page, and received numerous positive responses.[20] Within three days of the posting, media sources confirmed that Gray had been chosen by 2012 Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson to be his running mate should Johnson receive the party's nomination at the 2012 Libertarian National Convention.[21][22] Gray then confirmed his candidacy for the Libertarian vice-presidential nomination in an open letter to the party's Convention delegates.[23] On May 5, 2012, Gray won the Libertarian Party (LP) vice-presidential

President elect Barack Obama used his speech at a Los Angeles summit last night to reinvigorate a push for the revival of a frightening proposal to slash carbon emissions by 80 per cent, a move that would inflict a new Great Depression, cost millions of jobs, and sink America to near third world status. Obama President elect sets out on agenda to revive frightening Lieberman/Warner legislation.


“My presidency will mark a new chapter in America’s leadership on climate change,” Obama said in a video message to governors and others attending a Los Angeles summit on the issue.

“In the roughly four-minute message, Obama reiterated his support for a cap-and-trade system approach to cutting green house gases. He would establish annual targets to reduce emissions to their 1990 levels by 2020 and reduce them another 80 percent by 2050 Obama’s mission is to revive and expand the defeated 2007 Lieberman/Warner bill, “America’s Climate Security Act,” which proposed a cap and trade system to reduce carbon emissions 70 per cent by 2050.

The bill was rejected for a very good reason – its passage would have created economic conditions comparable to a new Great Depression and sunk America to near third world status. Obama’s agenda to cut carbon emissions by 80 per cent is a huge leap towards the ultimate goal, expressed by the Carnegie Institute earlier this year and afforded sober credibility by the corporate media – a complete reduction down to zero carbon emissions. Zero carbon emissions? That would lead to the near complete reversal of hundreds of years of technological progress and man’s return to the stone age.

Correction – stone age man was at least able to make use of fire – that too would presumably be banned under the measures being proposed.

Global transport of any kind would cease, manufacturing and production would be a thing of the past, the global economy would crumble, communications would go dark as computer networks and the Internet are abolished. Millions would freeze to death as a result of not being able to heat their homes. The head of Unilever has called on world leaders to raise their game in the battle against climate change. Pledges by the United States and other countries to sharply reduce greenhouse-gas emissions still aren’t enough to prevent global temperatures from rising beyond levels that scientists believe could be dangerous to the planet’s health, a U.N.-commissioned study says.

The report by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) cited a sizable “emissions gap” between the promises made by world leaders to lower pollution and the maximum amount of carbon the atmosphere can safely absorb.

“Without additional climate policies, global emissions will increase hugely up to at least 2050,” said the study, released Wednesday by the U.N. body that established the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the scientific organization that studies the effects of heat-trapping greenhouse gases on the global environment. Despite spending years claiming “climate change” would make the world hotter, not colder, climate activists are now blaming “global warming” for the arctic front pounding the U.S. “Global warming is worsening,” the article harked. “It seems that new reports appear with increasing frequency emphasizing the worsening of global warming due to increased accumulation of man-made greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere.”

GREECE BANKING CRISIS - Banks Running Dry of Cash. Capital Controls Coming Soon?

 No one knows the specifics for Greece, but here’s what happened in Cyprus: ATM withdrawals were capped at 300 euros a person per day. Transfers of more than 5,000 euros abroad were subject to approval by a special committee. Companies needed documents for each payment order, with approvals for over 200,000 euros determined by available liquidity. Parents couldn’t send children studying abroad more than 5,000 euros a quarter. Cypriots traveling abroad could carry no more than 1,000 euros with them. Termination of fixed-term deposits was prohibited, while payments with credit and debit cards were capped at 5,000 euros. Checks couldn’t be cashed.

The four-month standoff between Greece and its creditors over the terms of the country’s bailout has taken a toll on its lenders. With savers withdrawing bank deposits at a record pace and lenders relying on more than 80 billion euros ($88 billion) of Emergency Liquidity Assistance to survive, the European Central Bank’s continued help is key to Greek lenders. If the ECB’s Governing Council were to restrict ELA operations, Greece might have to impose capital controls -- essentially capping the amount of money people can access from banks.

WW3 in SUMMER 2015 According to Former NSA Intelligence Analyst

Build Up to WW3 -- Russian aircraft confront U S destroyer in Black Sea

Russia has scrambled military aircraft to head off a US warship it claims was "acting aggressively" in the Black Sea, state news agency RIA reported on Saturday.

Citing an anonymous source in Russia's Crimea-based armed forces, the agency said the US destroyer Ross was moving along the edge of Russia's territorial waters and heading in their direction.

"The crew of the ship acted provocatively and aggressively, which concerned the operators of monitoring stations and ships of the Black Sea Fleet," RIA quoted the source as saying.

"Su-24 attack aircraft demonstrated to the American crew readiness to harshly prevent a violation of the frontier and to defend the interests of the country."

Webster Tarpley is an American historian, economist, journalist, lecturer and a critic of U.S. foreign and domestic policy.

He received a BA degree summa cum laude in English and Italian from Princeton University in 1966. While a student at Princeton he became a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and was a Fulbright Scholar at University of Turin in Italy. Tarpley also obtained a MA degree in humanities from Skidmore College, as well as a PhD from the Catholic University of America in History.

As a European based journalist in the 1980s, Tarpley wrote a study on the assassination of Prime Minister Aldo Moro. The study claimed that the murder was a false flag operation orchestrated by Propaganda Due (a Masonic Lodge) with the cooperation of senior members of the Italian government secret services that was blamed on the Red Brigades.

As an activist historian he first became widely known for his book George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography (1992), a masterpiece of research which is still a must read.

During 2008, he warned of the dangers of an Obama presidency controlled by Wall Street with Obama: The Postmodern Coup, The Making of a Manchurian Candidate and Barack H. Obama: The Unauthorized Biography. His interest in economics is reflected in Surviving the Cataclysm: Your Guide Through the Worst Financial Crisis in Human History Against Oligarchy. Tajik commander joins ISIS after being trained in US

 A few days ago, Tajikistan's special forces chief appeared in a video claiming to have joined the ISIL terrorist group in Syria. It has now been revealed that Gulmurod Khalimov had been trained in counter-terrorism tactics on American soil. Khalimov, who went missing in early May, is seen in the footage dressed in black and holding a gun. He says he participated in the US programs three times. The State Department has confirmed this claim. The program was intended to train candidates from participating countries in latest counter-terrorism tactics, so they can fight the very kind of terrorists Khalimov has now joined. A State Department official says Khalimov was trained in crisis response and tactical management of special events.

Fukushima Screaming Radioactivity, 8.5 EQ, & Volcanic Blast Update 5/30/15

The operator of the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant says it has found record-high levels of radioactive water in the facility's port. It says the high levels are due to a leak of wastewater.
Tokyo Electric Power Company officials said on Friday that contaminated water leaked from a crack in a hose connecting a wastewater tank to a building at the plant.
They later detected about 22,000 becquerels of beta ray-emitting substances per liter of water in a nearby drainage ditch. The ditch is in the upper part of a drainage channel.
The utility also found the density of radioactive materials in the channel was around 6,600 becquerels per liter. That's more than 200 times higher than the figure recorded on Wednesday.
TEPCO officials took samples of seawater from 4 locations in the port, where the leaked water reached via the drainage channel. They detected between 190 and 320 becquerels of radioactive substances per liter. The figure is the highest ever recorded in the port.
Utility officials say the leak stopped after they halted the flow of water, and that it has not affected waters in the Pacific Ocean outside the port.
TEPCO workers are trying to collect water from the drainage channel to prevent it from reaching the ocean.

Radioactive Water Leaks at Fukushima Daiichi HMMMMMMmmm

The operator of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant says workers have found a leak of comparatively highly radioactive water at the plant's site. It says the water flowed into the plant's port.
Tokyo Electric Power Company says the contaminated water was leaking from a hose connecting a wastewater tank and a building at the plant.
The hose had a crack about 1 centimeter long. The contaminated water was produced in a process to clean up rainwater tainted by radioactive materials at the plant.
Utility officials said the leaked water flowed into a nearby drainage channel and into the port.
They said they detected about 1,200 becquerels per liter of beta ray-emitting substances from water taken from the channel on Thursday. That figure was 40 times the level the previous day.
They said the figure rose to a maximum of 1,400 becquerels on Friday. The officials believe the leakage continued over the two days.
The company says concerns were raised about the hoses' durability. It has been replacing them.
Authorities in Fukushima Prefecture have urged the company to conduct an investigation to identify the cause of the leak. They say the company should take thorough measures to prevent a recurrence.

M8.5 Quake Off Ogasawara Shakes Wide Areas in Japan MAY 30, 2015
A powerful earthquake shook Tokyo and surrounding areas on Saturday night.
The Meteorological Agency says the magnitude 8.5 earthquake occurred at around 8:24 PM Japan time.
The focus was at a depth of about 590 kilometers off the Ogasawara Islands.
The tremor registered intensities of 5-plus on the Japanese scale of 0 to 7 in Hahajima Island in the Ogasawara Islands, and parts of Kanagawa Prefecture.
Intensities of 5-minus were recorded in some cities in Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo.
Tremors of 1 to 3 were felt over wider areas from Hokkaido, northern Japan, to Okinawa, southwestern Japan.

Volcanic Activity Still High on Kuchinoerabu
a volcano on Kuchinoerabu Island is still highly active following a massive eruption on Friday.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said it rained on and off Saturday overnight near Mount Shindake on the island.
It said clouds covering the summit are preventing it from seeing what the plume of smoke now looks like.
The agency has not observed any volcanic tremors since Saturday morning, leading it to believe the eruption has subsided.
But experts believe most of the magma that has built up below the mountain is still there, which means further powerful eruptions are possible.
By 9 AM on Sunday, the agency had recorded 4 earthquakes in a shallow part beneath the island. It is maintaining the eruption-alert at the highest level of 5.
Friday's eruption sent a plume of smoke more than 9,000 meters into the air. Huge rocks fell around the crater and currents of hot gases and rocks traveled down in almost all directions. Some of the flows reached the coast.
Experts say the blast was likely caused by interaction between water and magma. the latest event could be an initial phase of the volcano's active period.
He said the alert needs to be maintained for 2 to 3 YEARS.

The two-week exercise will involve forces from Germany, Britain, France, the Netherlands and the United States, as well as non-Nato allies Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. While 20% of Americans will die in such attacks, he argued that nuclear attacks are survivable and promoted the idea that people construct fall-out shelters in their basements, as well as increase their self-sufficiency, as an EMP attack will knock out electricity for up to a year. He also foresees that America will go to war against Iran, probably in 2011-- the U.S. is just waiting for the right provocation.
