People are having smaller families because the economy is not good, that's people in developed countries who consider the quality of life they can offer their children. Third world people for whatever reason think differently, they believe their children will provide for them in old age! Of course this presupposes that those children will find good paying jobs which will enable them to support their own family plus older relatives, how often does this hold true!! Elon like most affluent people fail to consider the difficulties of raising a large family in todays economy where people are no longer self sufficient and must depend on a system where prices are rising much faster then wages. Blame those who have installed the unequal economy of a manipulated supply and demand where only the privileged few benefit!!!!
