 In June of 2016 Donald Trump promised to "indict" Hillary Clinton in a fundraising email sent out by his campaign Wednesday.

Trump, then the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, compared a vote for him in the November election to throwing the book at Clinton because of the scandals that have followed her.
