Wikileaks founder denies Russian involvement

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has denounced last week's US intelligence report on Russian hacking, calling it politically motivated.
Assange said the US intelligence provided no evidence that Russian actors gave WikiLeaks hacked material. He, however, did not provide any clues about the source of the documents. Assange said the report is vague and that US intelligence officials should be embarrassed by the declassified document. The report accuses Russia of trying to interfere with the U-S political process, in particular during last year’s presidential election. The report, for the first time, explicitly tied Russia President Vladimir Putin to the hackings. The report lacked details about as how the US learned about the alleged Russian involvement.
