NBC News’ Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel sits down with Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs official Lu Kang to discuss the future of the relationship between the United States and China under President Trump.












The Chinese foreign minister Lu Kang is a very smart, eloquent, Person. He had no problems defusing the set up questions by the reporter. I am an American so I support the American interest but I can respect the interest of the Chinese as well.


A report is supposed to inquire and report...not push foreign representatives into speaking out against our leaders. This was not an interview, it was a politically motivated attempt at warring against their own President. The Chinese representative saw this and was wise enough to outwit the so-called reporter.
