International banks planning to leave Britain




 Leading international banks based in Britain are planning to leave the country in order to maintain access to the European Union financial markets following the Brexit vote.The secretary general of the French stock market regulator, AMF, said that large international banks have conducted research aimed at moving their operations to the French capital. Reports say other European cities such as Dublin and Luxembourg are also competing with Paris to attract major financial institutes who plan to leave Britain. Banks are concerned that the UK’s exit from the EU may result in leaving Europe’s single market that would make it difficult for them to sell their services throughout the continent.
