Julian Assange : Clinton Foundation and Daesh funded from same sources

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange stated that Hillary Clinton’s Clinton Foundation and the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIL/ISIS) are funded from the same sources.

He was speaking about the organisation’s latest release of Clinton emails, during an interview on the John Pilger Special show that is to be exclusively broadcast by RT, courtesy of Dartmouth Films. The interview took place in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where Assange has been residing since August 2012. The footage was released on Thursday.

Assange cited an early 2014 email from Hillary Clinton, not long after she left the position of secretary of state, to her campaign manager, John Podesta. “That email, it states that ISIL, ISIS, is funded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the governments of Saudi Arabia and Qatar," the WikiLeaks founder said. "I think this is the most significant email in the whole collection," he added.

John Pilger put it to Assange that "particularly the Saudis and Qataris are giving all this money to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton is secretary of state and the State Department is approving massive arms sales particularly to Saudi Arabia," to which the WikiLeaks founder replied, "under Hillary Clinton, and our Clinton emails reveal significant discussion about it, the largest ever arms deal in the world was made with Saudi Arabia - more than 80 billion dollars."

Pilger suggested that "the consequence of that is that this notorious terrorist jihadist group called ISIL or ISIS is created largely with money from the very people who are giving money to the Clinton Foundation."
