Jim Rogers : Donald Trump as President would mean war and bankruptcy for US

“If Donald Trump is elected as US president, it means war and bankruptcy for US,” Investor Jim Rogers told BTVi when asked about the US elections. Jim Rogers said that he expects Janet Yellen, the US Fed chief to hike rates in December this year. “US Fed hiking rates will bring bad news for markets worldwide…countries which trade with the West will face problems,” he said. He finds the investment prospects in North Korea “very interesting”. Asked about Brexit, Rogers said that there would be “more pain in UK” because of Britain’s exit from the European Union.
