Cop Killings in America

For the second time in as many days, US police officers have been killed. 3 Baton Rouge police officers were shot and killed by an ex-US Marine and Iraq war veteran in Baton Rouge Louisiana. This comes after the shooting of 5 police officers by another veteran. Both shooting incidents come after African Americans were unjustly killed by US police officers. In this edition of the debate, we’ll discuss the threat of contagion, since apparently Americans have had enough, and they are taking matters into their own hands. We’ll also ask how the US administration is handling what is a divided country when it comes to race.
