A deadly attack has hit France, with French media saying some 30 people have been killed. A truck rammed into a crowd leaving a fireworks display in the French Riviera town of Nice. Police and ambulances are on the scene and authorities have urged residents to stay indoors. There have also been unconfirmed s of gunfire. An AFP er described seeing a white van driving at high speed onto the famed Promenade des Anglais as people were leaving after the annual Bastille Day celebrations.
