Not only has Venezuela run out of money (the bolivar) to print, the food, water, oil, and energy crises have skyrocketed beyond measure. In fact, it’s getting to the point where the inflation has beyond pummeled, beyond the breaking point.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has been taking “drastic measures” to combat these ongoing issues. In fact, at the beginning of April alone, he announced four-hour power outages nationwide, and that government offices would only function on Monday and Tuesday in an attempt to save energy. In other words, Venezuela is under a 2-day work week.

With so much occurring, the question we should be thinking about is WHY? What are the bigger implications behind all this, and exactly WHAT are they getting ready for?
