If I kicked the door into your home, killed your parents and chased you out before burning it to the ground, you would probably be angry. Why are we surprised when people in other countries become angry when we do the equivalent to them? The cycle of violence is well understood and US foreign policy has been a willing and tireless participant. As with any toxic cycle it will take courage, sacrifice and maturity to overcome and break it. But if we do not the bloodshed will never, ever end but our freedom, liberty and way of life certainly will.
