Conflicts in Syria, Libya root cause of Refugee Crisis on Europe EU Foreign Policy chief Admits

 European Union's foreign policy chief says the main root cause of the refugee crisis in Europe is the conflicts in Syria and Libya.

Mogherini made the remarks at a joint press conference with Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn. She added that EU supports all efforts aimed at forming a national unity government in Libya. Mogherini also said that the European Union should try to find a political solution for the war in Syria. The U-S and its allies in Middle East and Europe have been supporting the militants fighting against the Syrian government over the past years. The West and NATO also threw their weight behind the rebels who managed to topple former Libyan strongman Muammer Gaddafi back in 2011.
