Capitalism cartoon made in 1948
"Make Mine Freedom" Classic Capitalism Cartoon from Harding University 1948
This is part of a video series from Harding University about free market capitalism. It was directed by the great Joseph Barbera of Hanna-Barbera fame. These videos pre-date the founding of Harding University's American Studies Institute and were spear headed by University President George Benson. The best character in this film is the grifter who is selling "ism" to the unwitting masses. There are two other videos in this series: "Going Places" and "Meet King Joe." John Sutherland produced several pro-capitalism videos and lectures.
