Thousands of workers, scholars and social activists from several Latin American countries gathered in Buenos Aires and rallied trough the main streets of the city to protest against what they called "the US imperialist policy of aggression" against Venezuela. The move follows a decision by President Barack Obama to declare the Caribbean nation as a "security threat" for Washington. The rally ended in front of the Venezuelan Embassy where the demonstrators voiced their support to the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
