The FBI says a U.S. man has been arrested for allegedly plotting an attack on the US Congress inspired by Islamic State jihadists. The 20-year-old Christopher Cornell was taken into custody on Wednesday after he purchased two semi-automatic weapons and 600 rounds of ammunition in the U.S. state of Ohio. Cornell had been under surveillance by the FBI since August 2014.
