90-years-old faces Jail for feeding the Homeless

Police are charging a 90-year-old Florida man with the crime of feeding the homeless. Fort Lauderdale is one of multiple cities across the US to have recently passed strict regulations on helping those in need, with jail time being a possibility for offenders. RT’s Ben Swann spoke to Arnold Abbott to find out why he is now facing potential prison time.

So if you are having a family reunion at a park and one of the family members is homeless, would it be illegal to give him a plate of food even though the rest of the family is given a plate of food? There is really no way of determining who gets to be served in public and who doesn't unless everybody in a public park has to prove they have a home so I guess the next step is to make all outdoor eating illegal. I read a report that said the increased anti-homeless laws are as a result of the increase of homelessness in cities due to so many homeless veterans. That's a pretty sad thing period.

  1. Grandpa needs to bring in a proxy and rent a pavilion in that area. If he wants to feed the homeless, let the proxy feed the homeless. Claim all the homeless people as family, i.e. family reunion. Cousins, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, you name it.

While they're at it, bring pens, paper, envelopes and stamps. Let the homeless write their families if need be.

A few people with unlimited calling plans can bring their cell phone so that the "family" members can call their real families during the holiday.
