President Barack Obama made many promises while campaigning for office in 2008 and 2012, but very seem to actually be top priorities for the commander in chief. From closing the Guantanamo Bay detention facility to increasing government transparency, a wide range of issues the president promised to address have been ignored, with some even having grown worse during the president’s time in the White House.
