Pentagon: ISIS Targets US Military Families
An alert going out to all military facilities in the US, warning them to
prepare for potential acts of violence from supporters or even members
of the Islamic State. Now, many members of the Secret Service and
military are changing their profiles on social media, and they have
special permission to dress down in public, wearing casual clothes
instead of anything with military insignia. Officials in the Department
of Defense won’t validate any of the specifics, but we know from several
sources that have seen the alerts, it appears Islamic State militants
have made real, credible threats to launch isolated attacks against
members of the US military.
