Meanwhile, Islamic State fighters are staging a counter attack across the border in Iraq. Early Wednesday, ISIS ground troops shot down another Iraqi military attack helicopter. Both pilots died in the crash. It’s the second time this week Islamic State fighters successfully shot down a helicopter from the ground, in the same week the Obama administration deployed American Apache Attack Choppers to fly in the same airspace. This time, the copter was shot down about 130 miles north of Baghdad.
