More news out of Ferguson Missouri, and this time, it’s casting a shadow of suspicion on a Democrat Senator. Congresswoman Jamilah Nasheed is now out of jail after being arrested, carrying a 9 millimeter handgun in the streets of Ferguson on Tuesday. Police warned her to stay on the sidewalk, but witnesses say she refused. Many of her local supporters are stunned by the arrest, after Nasheed has been one of the loudest voices against concealed carry permits on Capitol Hill. In fact, she has sponsored several anti-gun laws in the last few years. Nasheed refused to submit to a breathalyzer test while in police custody.
