War on Terrorism or War for Oil - Ken Silverstein
On the eve of September 11, 13 years after terrorist attacks brought down the twin towers in New York City, President Obama announced a “broad coalition” to fight Islamic State extremists. The President is now officially binding the US to a conflict that he said he’d pull back from. So it bears understanding what the legacy in terms of security apparatus and military spending has been. Erin weighs in. Then, Erin speaks with Ken Silverstein, investigative reporter and author of “The Secret World of Oil,” to talk about the relation between the oil industry and war. After the break, Erin is joined by Steve Hochberg, chief market analyst at Elliott Wave International, to talk about how markets move in wave patterns that are discernible over multiple time frames. Hochberg sees this particular market as reaching a top within a larger secular bear market. And in The Big Deal, Erin and Edward Harrison further explore the affects the September 11 terrorist attacks had on the finance world. Take a look!
