Former Ohio Rep. James Traficant Dies at 73
Former Congressman James Traficant passed away Saturday only days after a critical tractor accident on his family’s Ohio farm.
A vocal critic of foreign aid and the IRS, Traficant spent 7 years in prison after being set up for federal corruption.
Traficant, best known for his “beam me up” signature quote during House floor speeches, is survived by his two daughters, Robin and Elizabeth, and his wife, Paticia.
A frequent guest on the Alex Jones Show, Traficant joined Alex in 2010 to discuss the country’s slow decent into financial serfdom.
