Daniel Hannan, debating at the Oxford Union, on why socialism doesn't work.
It's naive to think that common ownership of all things as in socialism/communism can be done without the use of coercion backed by state power/authoritarianism. That is why many people died in communist revolutions. It's the luxury of armchair/suburban academics to think that it's all going to happen without blood getting spilled. Historical experiments of the Koreas, Germany, backs this hypothesis. Socialism/communism and authoritarianism go hand in hand.
Neither does crony Capitalism or private central Banks
