Kerry admits that the US-led invasion of Iraq was a grave mistake

John Kerry says the US administration is still working through many of the problems associated with the war on Iraq. He acknowledged that many problems in the Middle East today have their roots in that war. In 2003, former US president George W. Bush ordered the invasion, accusing former Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, of possessing weapons of mass destruction. But as it was revealed later, the accusation was unfounded and only served as a pretext for US military presence in Iraq which lasted until 20-11.
