Elizabeth Warren vs. Hillary Clinton in the race to the Oval Office

Ready to rumble: Ready for Warren Vs. Ready for Hillary.
(WashingtonTimes) Uh-oh. Looks like the high profile political action committee Ready for Hillary has some company. Launched Tuesday, Ready4Warren.com is a new campaign website to support a potential presidential run by Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts in 2016.

The volunteer grass-roots organizers declare: "We aren't wealthy or well-connected. We don't have any lobbyists. What we are is a movement of individuals working together who believe that folks like us should have a greater say in the direction of our country."

They add: It's time that the American people had a lobbyist of our own, and that lobbyist is Elizabeth Warren. By standing up to Wall Street to defend Main Street, Warren has proven herself to be the spine that the Democratic Party forgot it had."

Such sentiments exemplify the kind of liberal populism that strategists say could appeal to many Democrats who are becoming wary of long established political brands and veterans politicians - like Hillary Clinton.

Mrs. Warren gas already written "A Fighting Chance", a well received memoir, published well before Mrs. Clinton's "Hard Choices". She has been deemed a newly realized "stealth candidate" in news accounts, and compared to David Brat, who recently rattled Rep. Eric Cantor right out of the Virginia GOP primaries.

"Warren is perfectly poised to be the Obama of 2016," syndicated columnist Jonah Goldberg said recently.
