The Future is Here -- Man Soars in the Air with the Help of a Jetpack

The Smithsonian Institution has looked into the future and it consists of jet packs - an event sponsored by the museum features a man soaring through the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington D.C. on a jetpack.

Full Story:

A man soars inside Washington D.C.'s Ronald Reagan Building with the help of a hydrogen and nitrogen-powered jet pack on Saturday (May 17). The demonstration is part of the Smithsonian magazine's second annual The Future is Here Festival.

The jetpack flight is powered by a pressurized blast of non-flammable hydrogen peroxide and nitrogen thrust through the rocket nozzles.

The flight required clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) because of the building's close proximity to the White House.
